Castor & Pollux House (150 sqm, sleeps: 6-7): living room, dining room, satellite TV, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, washing machine), 4 double bedrooms (2 lofts with double beds and 2 with French beds), 4 bathrooms (2 with shower stalls, 2 with bath/shower). The house also features 2 large outdoor verandas with barbecue areas, a large private garden, and a large private parking area with a secondary entrance.

The spacious Schnautzer Estate includes 2 guest houses (Orpheus & Eurydice and Castor & Pollux), which were formerly the dependencies and private chapel of Villa La Chiusa. These structures have been recently renovated to offer all modern comforts and make the stay as pleasant as possible. The estate has a large private outdoor space, providing guests with all the privacy and relaxation needed for a well-deserved vacation.

The garden, perfectly maintained with its wealth of plants, flowers, and colors, has pleasantly furnished corners reserved for guests, allowing them to fully enjoy the natural beauty of the landscape, which stretches as far as the eye can see. Guests also have the opportunity to use the entire park and the beautiful swimming pool, located in a very picturesque area of the estate.

Simply perfect Italian holiday

There are no words to capture how perfect our stay was in Lucca. Andrea and his family were so welcoming. The home and property are stunning and everything you'd want out of an Italian vacation. Without a doubt, we will be back!

We spent a wonderful holiday in this house. It is ideally located just a couple of kilometers from beautiful Lucca. The house is really cosy and the vast estate offers lots of nice and cozy corners to relax, as well as a great pool. Andrea is a wonderful host who is always reachable and helpful in all situations. He has also provided us with a quite comprehensive list of the places to be in Lucca and its surroundings. All in all: A home away from home in which we felt like family. We will definitely be back :-)

Wunderbare Toscana

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Tenuta Schnautzer sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war von Anfang bis Ende vorbildlich. Das Ferienhaus in direkter Nachbarschaft zur Hauptvilla gelegen mit herrlichem Blick über den das Anwesen umgebenden Olivenhain in toskanische Hügellandschaft. Das Haus selbst war, wie auf den Fotos beschrieben und mit 8 Personen waren wir bestens untergebracht. Typisch toskanisch mit Charme eingerichtet. Zum Haus gehört ein privater Gartenanteil von ca. 500m², zusätzlich war das gesamte Grundstück, geschätzt 2-3 ha für Spaziergänge etc. nutzbar. Der Pool wurde von allen Gästen ( es befinden sich 2 weitere Appartments auf dem Gelände) genutzt. Aufgrund der Größe des Anwesens begegnet man anderen Gästen nur hier. Das von uns bewohnte Ferienhaus verfügt zudem über einen zusätzlichen separaten Eingang mit eigener Zufahrt (steile Schotterpiste), allerdings nichts für Sportwagen. Alles in allem sehr schön.

Anche se un pò defilata da Lucca (abbiamo affittato per il Comics), immersa nel verde e con ampie vetrate che consentono alla mattina la vista di un paesaggio che è un piacere per gli occhi. La signora si è dimostrata molto gentile e disponibile.

Amazing Stay

This house leaves best memories. Everything is impeccable at this property. Andrea was just extraordinary, he responded to any our questions. Location of the property is very comfortable to travel to local villages and nearby towns. Andrea recommended wonderful restaurants in the area, Andrea even assisted us with scheduling Covid test for our return to USA. All and all , this property will blow your mind , I wish I can come back here very soon. I highly recommend this place..

"PERFETTO, come da descrizione,ma la casa dal vivo è molto più bella. Max pulizia e funzionalità,arredata con molto gusto. Il posto è bellissimo e molto tranquillo,vicinissimo ad una città stupenda come Lucca,ad un passo da Pisa,Firenze,Versilia, 5 Terre. La casa è davvero bellissima e molto ben attrezzata, la vista è incantevole e il proprietario cortese e disponibile. Speriamo di riuscire a tornare in un periodo più caldo per poter godere anche del giardino e della magnifica piscina !!"
