Stable Cottage with far reaching views

Stable Cottage (6) is a three-bedroom single storey cottage, accessed off the car free central courtyard or through the large glass conservatory from a car parking space and to its own garden with magnificent views over farmland and distant woods. The lounge / diner and large glass conservatory makes this a lovely roomy cottage with lots of space for the family. The wood burner in the lounge makes it a cosy cottage in the evenings with a DVD and Free View 32" TV. There is a separate kitchen with cooker, fridge/freezer dishwasher and microwave. The double bedroom is off the living room and there are 2 further twin bedrooms and a large bathroom with over the bath shower and washing/dryer machine. All of our cottages have a charcoal BBQ and outside furniture to make the most of those long summer evenings.

One of best places to stay in Devon

With our family we visited a proper holiday home on beautiful South Farm property with best crew you can think of. Everything was clean on arrival, well maintained and all you need for a successful stay was available. Gary & Deb are the most helpful people and will make sure you have a good stay.

Picturesque location

The property is neat and tidy, kitchen is well equipped. Location is remote and therefore very peaceful (the sheep are the loudest thing you'll find) with great views, but it was a bit tricky to find the right property when we arrived in the dark. The kids enjoyed the playbarn, even in cold February! We didn't used any other facilities due to the weather and our plans. No towels are provided, which I didn't expect, so maybe this could be made clearer on the information. We were lucky to have brought some with us for swimming. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and I would return.

It was such a shame that you arrived so late at night or we would have been available to show you into the property.......I did call you as I was worried that you had still not arrived at gone 7pm. Gary did call around on your arrival approx 10pm to make sure that all was okay. With reference to the towels....it does state quite clearly that we don't provide them, we do keep some for people that have forgotten to bring them. Escape to the Country

Very clean and tidy property with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Swimming pool is foreign villa standard and hope the sauna and gym is open, COVID stopped it this visit, when we hopefully return.
