The cottage was perfect for our autumn trip and the views from it were stunning.

The cottage was perfect for our autumn trip and the views from it were stunning. We do believe the website details are misleading though. It says there is a pub 5 mins walk away - it is a hotel (which was closed for most of our week) and it is a dangerous walk along a fast road which couldn't be done safely at night. Similarly the other pub mentioned says its 30 mins walk away - which is closer to 40-45mins and again along the very fast road with no pavement (and shouldn't be attempted in the dark). There is no pub that could be safely or practically walked to from the cottage which was a shame. Other than that it was lovely and we were very lucky with the weather
