Apartment of 40m ² renovated at the edge of the sea, full south, located on the 2nd floor of a beautiful residence, in full heart of Honfleur. At 100 m from the first restaurants that I propose in my notebook of "reception. He understands :

A really lovely apartment in the heart of Honfleur on a beautiful street stepped back from the hustle and bustle. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was super comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Central appartement in Honfleur

Comfortable apartment in central location, just minutes from lots of restaurants, bars & shops.Spotlessly clean on arrival .Big comfortable bed, & large rainfall shower in the bathroom.Our stay coincided with a particular hot spell in the weather so even though a fan was provided the control mechanism was broken. Other options to a duvet for bedding would have been nice.

Great location just a couple streets back from the main areas of town. It is a 3rd floor walk-up, and the stairs are narrow, but they are well-lit not steep. The apartment has lovely views in both directions. The bed is comfy. The kitchen is adequately appointed for light cooking (fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, and electric kettle) There is a nice cross-breeze from the windows and an electric fan was also available. We did laundry several times — there is a drying rack to hang wet clothes.

Excellent location

This rental was in a great location close to Vieux Bassin. Véronique was always timely with responding to messages. The only reason I gave a 4 star rating is that although it has a washer it did not clean the clothes very well. It could be that I was unfamiliar with the type of washer. Merci Véronique.

Great location

Small but comfortable apartment in a great location. Two flights of stairs to apartment. We stayed for seven nights. Well equipped and clean, comfortable bed. Would have liked more bathroom towels for our longer stay. Host was helpful, showed us where to park free, there is also paid parking outside the apartment. All in all very good, we would happily stay again.

Charming apartment indeed.

Charming apartment on a quiet street, right in the heart of Honfleur. Just a couple blocks from the harbor, everything is within walking distance, including the bus station. The apartment itself is very comfortable, updated and well-appointed with the essentials for your stay, and Veronique gave us a whole intorduction to the town upon check-in, including mapping out restaurants, cafes and other local sights not to be missed. (For an unforgettable meal, check out l'Endroit around the corner, and Lou Cabana on the harbor - you will not be sorry.) A few practical notes: Second floor by European standards, but third floor for American travelers. The stairs aren't too bad, and there's a proper landing on each floor, giving you a little break when hauling heavy luggage up and down. The building and the street are quiet. The town is very safe and very walkable. Lots of great cafes, restaurants, bakeries and shops, including a large supermarket a couple blocks away. The harbor is truly picturesque, although we found that pictures online don't do it justice. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Best Place We Found in France

This apartment was by far the nicest of 6 apartments we have rented in France and the price was fair but not expensive. The location is excellent, the two flights of stairs easy even for us in our 60's. The apartment is very well appointed, very clean, kitchen and bathroom very up-to-date and very comfortable bed. Veronique is a wonderful host. She greeted us, told us how to find the good places to eat, sights to see and the workings of the apartment. She checked with us again on the last evening to see how things went for us. She loves to visit with her quests and wants to make sure that her place enhances their stay in Honfleur. I certainly did for us and I'm confident it will for you as well. I highly recommend this apartment without any reservations.

Very Disappointing Experience

After having our passports stolen, we had to cancel our trip. Despite these extenuating circumstances and cancelling 2 weeks prior to our trip, Veronique refused to give us ANY money back. We feel this is unfair. I'm sure she enjoyed keeping our money and having nobody stay in the room. So, although we weren't able to stay there, we did pay for the rooms in full and got no refund. For this reason, I feel our review should be accepted to warn other potential visitors.
