Explore Monmouth, the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean from this lodge or simply relax in the large shared garden.. 4 steps to entrance.
Ground Floor:
Living room: 21" Freeview TV, Sofa Bed (Single)
Kitchen/dining room: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine
Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bedroom 2: Single (3ft) Bed
Wet Room: Shower, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Welcome pack.. Patio with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Lawned garden with patio, garden furniture, summerhouse and BBQ (shared with other property on-site). ¾-acre natural un-spoilt grounds (shared with owner and other property on-site). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. This lovely detached lodge is sat within the owner’s grounds overlooking the open countryside and has a large, shared lawned area to the front and a field next to it which has a couple of horses in. The lodge has two bedrooms, one double and one single, as well as a sofa bed in the living room, and the kitchen has all the appliances you could need.
There are masses of things to see and do in this area, you can walk from the property down to the River Wye through the Wye Valley and on to Symonds Yat. Monmouth itself is steeped in history and has an abundance of activities. Visit Monmouth Castle and Military Museum or Shire Hall, and after all that walking and exploring visit one of the many cafés or restaurants in the town.
Tintern Abbey is 7 miles from the property and makes for a fantastic day out. Goodrich Castle is another to visit and is just 6 miles away. The Forest of Dean is approximately 10 miles from the lodge, here you can visit Clearwell Caves which are over 4500 years old and there are nine caverns to explore. Puzzlewood is a great day out for adults and kids alike.
Whatever or wherever you decide to go on this holiday, The Garden House is the perfect place to come back to and relax. There is a lovely summerhouse in the garden where you can sit with a glass of something and watch the sunset. Shop, pub and restaurant 6 miles.
The Garden House can be booked together with Red Lodge (ref UK10988) to accommodate up to 6 guests.
