A delightful country retreat
We were warmly welcomed by our hosts. The Apple store is cosy and well equipped. We enjoyed the beautiful outlook and watching the sheep in the valley and feeding the pet sheep. Fox cubs, a deer and many different birds kept us watching the wildlife. We were perfectly placed to visit local attractions as well as further afield.

Lovely week in the countryside
I took my aunt away for a week to the Apple Store and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Sarah and Dom are great hosts. The cottage is warm and very comfortable. The local area is beautiful. We went to Monmouth, Abergavenny, symonds Yat and the sculpture Trail in The Forest of Dean and I walked down to Biblins and crossed the fabulous rope bridge. If you like walking there are loads of great walks locally and further a field. The only very small downside for us was my aunt not being able to use the shower due to the high step in and out with no handle to aid balance so after the first day she didn’t use it again. It didn’t spoil our enjoyment though and we would happily go there again.

Post Xmas trip
We were after some peace and quiet, time for family catch up and time outdoors with the dog. The location couldn't have been better, close to local nature reserves and places to wander. There was a lot of rain and flooding so we stuck to the bigger roads and more accessible areas but still had a fab time. The cottage is clean, comfortable and has all the basic stuff you need for a trip away. The floorboards creek, the decor is a little old fashioned but it's an old barn, so that's part of the charm! The views from outside are lovely. The hosts were friendly and helpful. We will go back again.

Best New Years Getaway
What a trip! The property was the perfect place for friend, son and I. It has such a homely feel, the travel cot was set up in advance and Christmas lights still on. The area is stunning and the sheep had a few friendly chats with my baby boy who loved that they would come to the fence to see him!
