Newly renovated, Ideal location for a multi-family reunion. Beautiful secluded location. House is on Crystal Lake which is a no wake lake the house has a canoe, kayak, paddle boat, two stand up boards as well as a sand box for the kids. Fully stocked home with W/D. Has large parking area for numerous cars. Relax at the lake and enjoy the peace and quiet. It has 4 queen beds, 1 full, 8 single beds, and one crib. Enjoy the fire pit, propane gas grill or charcoal grill.
Amish country is nearby and don't forget to stop at the Berry patch for picking blueberries. Lawn is treated for Mosquitoes from May to September. PS 3 and several games are available. Newly added DirectTV. A/C units in all upstairs bedrooms. Central A/C on main level.

Great house for family weekend! We had 3 families and grandparents -- plenty of space for everyone! Loved swimming, kayaking, relaxing on the dock, and enjoying the bonfire. Thank you!

This home was perfect for our family trip. Had plenty of space for what we needed. The weather played to our favor and we were able to enjoy time out on the dock and a even a fire in the pit or last night. The peace at night was a welcome respite from the noise of our cities, and the bird chorus in the AM was a wonderful sound to wake to.We should have another graduation in a few years, and we hope to stay here again!

This home was situated in a lovely neighborhood with beautiful well kept flowers lawn, dock, and wildlife. The home itself is perfect for large gatherings. Many beds, lots of space for youngsters to sleep play and romp outside. The kitchen had all the things for feeding large crowds. Appliances were new and niceThe beds themselves could probably do with an upgrade. While I appreciate the thought behind covered mattresses they were rather crinkly and kept the fitted sheets from staying put. Extra Linens were rather scarce but we had just enough but not extra. The thing that made the stay was a family history book left on the mantle. Somehow that story just seemed to draw us into their memories and unique history.

The lake house was beautiful and perfect for our family to stay together while we were all traveling in from different cities to attend a wedding. While we didn't have a chance to enjoy many of the amenities (lake activities) it was a great place to stay!

Beautiful property, but a concerning experience with the hostThe property itself was excellent—clean, well maintained, well equipped, and fully stocked. The rooms and outdoor areas were well keptUnfortunately, our experience with the host was concerning. When I booked nearly 20 months in advance, I disclosed that we would bring dogs and received confirmation. We had also stayed here previously with our dogs without issue. After check-in, the host called Sunday evening to say the pet policy had changed and dogs were no longer allowed. We received no prior notice from the host or VRBO.More concerning was the privacy issue. The host referenced specific details about where we had placed an outdoor cushion and said her cousin next door reported more than 15 people at the property. There were 12 people in our group. For someone to conclude that there were more than 15 guests, it raises a serious concern about how our group was being observed and counted during our stay.We were not informed that our activities or group size were being constantly observed or reported.We were also charged 500 in additional cleaning fees on top of the 215 standard fee, including 250 for “dog fur everywhere.” whereas our dogs were in only 3 rooms, the sun room, the family room and one bedroom where they were crated . Rest all the places we had restricted them. We disputed the charges, and VRBO confirmed the additional 500 was waived and said they would address the issue of privacy with host

The property’s no-pet policy was not followed during this stay. My cousin happened to be staying next door, saw the dogs, and knowing that my no-pet policy applies even to family, immediately let me know. I contacted the guest during the stay regarding the house rules, and no mention of a service animal was made at that time. I was later informed by VRBO that one of the dogs was identified as a service animal. I assessed a $250 pet fee but ultimately waived the fee entirely. While I appreciate that the guests enjoyed the property, based on my experience I would not choose to host this group again.

Crystal Lake House

We love the privacy of this property. The lakefront is great for kids. OK lake for small bass with numerous bluegills. Our idyllic tranquility was interrupted for two days by the sound of chainsaws and beeping equipment as tree removers worked all around the house.

Boats were a nice addition

Our family enjoyed that the hosts left their boats for us to use on the lake. The property manage, Rhonda, was very friendly. Lots of room for a large family to stay.

Wonderful lake house!

Multi-generational family vacation, perfectly suited all our needs. Enough bedrooms, things to do, beautiful sunsets. Caretakers are very helpful and responsive if a need arises. Second time staying here and we’re booked again for next summer.

Yearly football trip

We really enjoyed this property. The fire pit was wonderful and the lake is beautiful. The house was easy to find and it wasn’t to far from Notre Dame stadium. Thanks bunches for the wonderful memories we made this weekend.

Great gathering!

This was an ideal rental for a mix of generations and interests. We enjoyed the beauty of the lake setting and made the most of the water craft. Having so much space allowed our large group to spread out and relax. We all agreed it was perfect.

Such a beautiful family home. Our grands live the lake and all the boats provided. Big enough for all of us (16) without feeling cramped. Cousins LOVE being together. Thank you for helping us make wonderful memories!!

Weekend getaway

We rented this beautiful, spacious home for the weekend to celebrate my sister’s birthday. There were twelve adults and we had plenty of room. We were pleasantly surprised to see that everything was supplied including paper towels, dish washing detergent, and showers essentials.

A lovely lakehouse

Very spacious, clean, well stocked home on a quiet, peaceful lake. 3 generations stayed quite comfortably for a week, enjoying fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and boating, the sandy beach, movies & video games, the campfire, etc. Very responsive, helpful caretakers. Nothing to complain about.

FYI. There were quite a few stink bugs upstairs. A blind fell off a window upstairs. It was clearly broken already. We did not have enough towels in the house. Overall we were all in town for a wedding so it was good for what we needed. But please update those mattresses. Seem very old. And some sheets just did not fit. Thank you!

Great family place

There were 11 of us that stayed. The house accommodated everyone’s needs. The huge dining room table made for great game nights. Everyone had a place to sit. The property was perfect. There was basketball, volleyball, hammock, firepit, paddle board, kayak, canoe,pedal boat. I brought extra items for the kitchen and didn’t even need them. Our young and adult kids had such a great time.

Lakehouse

This place is fabulous! 6 bedrooms, most with at least 2 beds! 4 bathrooms!! It was great for our group of 12! The outside deck and yard were perfect! Also the private pier and beach were nice ! We also had full access to paddle boards, 2 paddle boats, kayak and a canoe! We would re-book this place for sure!!

Family time at the lake

We were happy and would use them again. Internet streaming buffered too much for us top use it, but we were told to bring dvd's which we did. Nice access to the water and awesome to have 2 paddleboat, a kayak and a canoe. We did not use the paddle boards. Nice place
