About this property

Studio flat in the Cotswolds suitable for holiday or work let

Newly decorated, studio annexe flat. Sleeps 1 comfortably 2 at a push. It contains a comfortable double bed. The mattress is brand new

No smoking whatsoever is permitted anywhere around the property. If you smoke please do not book this property. There is one parking space for a car. If you are bringing anything larger than a car please get in touch before your arrival and we shall have to jiggle vehicles around.
Bedroom area is 11.5 ft x 10 ft approximately.
The flat contains everything you need for a holiday or a comfortable stay in the Cotswolds.
Property comprises of bedroom, kitchenette, and en suite shower with your own private entrance. You can come and go as you please. It’s all newly painted and decorated. It is in a good location a short walk down to Chipping Norton. A place to put your walking boots or bike for touring this beautiful area. See reviews left.
There is a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge, white microwave and toaster etc. Modern portable induction hob which is stored in the cupboard.
Newly fitted modern shower is for your private use only.
Everything is spotlessly clean. There is now a folding table that can be used for dining or as a desk at which to study.
The landlord lives next door and will be on hand to greet you or answer any questions. However we now have the option of key safe entry.
The area is hilly so please bear that in mind.
Please note. During the months of June July August and September the central heating system is closed down. Heating will go on 1 st October if outside temperature is below 16 degrees.
The unit comprises of bedroom, kitchenette and shower room.it isnt huge. However many travellers find it more than adequate. Please look after the key.and return it back to the key safe on your departure or post it through owners letterbox next door., if you lose it it’s a £45 charge to have the lock changed.

Host was amazing and responded to messages with questions leading up to our stay and checked in to make sure we were good and had everything we need. The property is perfect for one or two people using as a base, it had a microwave and fridge meaning we could make food as well as a plug in table top hob. Thank you for having us stay!!

Lovely place for exploring the Cotswolds

Ideal for one person. I wanted somewhere as a base to walk in the Cotswolds (it’s 30 minutes walk from the Rollright Stones), and this was perfect.Clean and with all you need for a short break.

A perfect place to get away from it all

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this apartment. It’s small but very comfortable and was perfect for my simple needs. I slept well - Over Norton is a very quiet neighbourhood. Nearby Chipping Norton caters for all shopping needs and has good roads to all parts of the Cotswolds. Minor niggle: the shower needs a soap dish! John E.

Perfect for a weekwnd break

My husband and I stayed here for two nights, it was the perfect little base for visiting the nearby villages. The annex is small but this is highlighted by the owner on the ad, however, dont be fooled by the size. It is big enough for two, clean and fully functional. Li the host waa great, welcoming and knowledgable avout the local area. Even provoded us woth a table when we asked. Would definately.recommend.

Wonderful stay

We spent a wonderful week in this accommodation. The owner is a wonderful lady who is very helpful and friendly. We received precise information for self-check-in and location. The accommodation is a small one, but very cozy for one people and comfortable for 2 people. The area is very quiet and close to Chipping Norton and there are 2 Roundabouts to all "wind directions" of Cotswold, which is a beautiful and pretty Nationalpark. We would definitely come back.

Good value accommodation suitable for a short stay

The accommodation was fairly basic and small but good value. I would have appreciated a tv in the room and just a few supplies such as tea bags would have been helpful. On the plus side Linane was a friendly and helpful host, willing to be contacted at any time to answer queries. She was able to supply me with a hairdryer when requested, and was kind enough to let my daughter stay at short notice. The location suited my needs perfectly.

Nicely kitted out but I didn't book my big birthday to be squealed out of bed by the hosts grandchildren who seemed to be being chased or otherwise encouraged to make as much noise as possible through thi walls. Shame. Was looking forward to it.

I am abhorrent of smoking and will not allow smoking in my beautiful studio flat. It’s not ok if you smoke outside.
If you are a recycler like me then Im happy to point out what goes in which bin etc.

Why they chose this property

The location.
Easy reach of all Cotswolds villages but also close to a town for shopping.
Supermarkets include Marks and Spencer’s, Sainsbury’s, Aldi, and a great cooperative store that stocks all locally produced products such as cheeses, beer, bread, and much more. Lots of farm shops are nearby as is Daylesford Organics, Soho Farmhouse, Diddly Squat Farm Shop and pub owned by Jeremy Clarkson and Chipping Norton Theatre Diddly Squat shop isn’t very big.
One weekend a month my grandchildren come to stay. If the laughter of children playing which may or may not be heard offends, please let me know and you can book on one of the 40 weekends they aren’t here. Im adding this comment because a guest was offended by their laughter. 🤷🏻‍♀️

What makes this property unique

You can come and go as you please as you have your own private front door
It’s a safe quiet area. We hardly see a car all day.
The studio flat is attached to the main house. Different entry doors. It’s well lit if you come in after dark.
The flat is well kitted out. It’s not huge but when people come to the beautiful Cotswolds it isn’t to stay in bed all day. Most guests leave for the day at 7 am to see as much as they possibly can.
