This spacious luxurious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in the iconic and famous Alfred Hitchcock Shoreditch building offers a sizeable master bedroom with ensuite shower room, second double bedroom, family sized bathroom and a wonderful open plan living room/kitchen with fantastic views over Regent Canal. Conveniently, there is a supermarket and cafe in the building.

Excellent location and walking distance to the lovely Shoreditch, Angel and Upper street

The apartment is available throughout the year but at a minimum of a 5 night stay.

Spacious apartment with balcony overlooking the canal

We enjoyed this well appointed apartment in a lovely building with 24 hour concierge security. The large windows in the open living room/dining/kitchen provide lovely views and a sense of peace and quiet and access to the charming balcony. Great kitchen too!

Super easy. No hidden costs or fees. No strange requests from management upon departure. There is a very adequate grocery on the ground level and a terrific cafe just out the front door. So happy we found this place.

Exactly what we needed

Spent two full weeks here with my family, including two young boys. Location was great -- a little far from underground but many bus stops that made connections easy. Balcony overlooking Regents Canal was perfect for working. No dryer, but easy to use drying racks with washer in unit, or else full service wash/fold laundry places an easy walk away. We did both during our stay. Very communicative hosts that answered all questions timely and made it easy. Very comfortable and would stay here again.

Family Friendly, Gracious Hosts

This flat was spacious with a wonderful open plan living room/kitchen just as advertised. Plenty of room to host a dinner with our London family, as well as just sitting around visiting & gabbing. The host was accommodating and certainly easy to communicate with. The views out the window with the deck over Regent Canal were certainly a plus, as was the convenience of the supermarket and cafe downstairs in the building. Wonderful and homey! All that said, I do have one caveat. This flat is superb for a family traveling with child-sized children. But the 2nd bedroom and the 2nd bathroom were not at all well-suited to adult children, nor for 2 couples traveling together.

A beautiful place to stay

Staying in Shahryar's lovely apartment, I felt that I was staying in the beautiful home of a friend. The apartment looks just like its pictures, beautifully furnished, light and airy with a huge balcony overlooking the Regent Canal with lovely views of the city. The well-equipped kitchen even has an espresso machine and an amazing spice collection. The two-bedroom flat would be excellent for a family since there are several parks with great playgrounds nearby and also a recreation centre with a swimming pool. The location is quite far from central London, but a number of buses stop right at the corner and once you figure out the bus system you can travel anywhere quite easily. There is an excellent Co-co supermarket in the building which for a small shop has an amazing range of products including a good selection of wine, fresh fruits and vegetables and interesting food. Bobo and Wild, also in the building, in a friendly coffee shop and restaurant. I look forward to staying here again.

Lovely spacious flat with breezy balcony overlooking the canal

I had a wonderful ten day stay with my two teenagers in Shahryar’s lovely and well-appointed flat. We had the pleasure of being warmly greeted by his mum, and she personally showed us around the flat. Although London was experiencing a heat wave, with temps reaching the 30sC/90sF, the flat remained comfortable with the cross ventilation from the large balcony doors and the bedroom windows, which open quite far. There was a nearly constant breeze on both sides of the building. There are two full bathrooms, one with a tub/shower combination, and there were plenty of towels available. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage for clothes, and beds are very comfortable! There’s reliable Wi-Fi and the kitchen has everything you could ask for. The clothes washer worked perfectly, and clothes dried quickly on the drying rack with the balcony doors open. The living room has two very comfortable sofas, with two overhead lighting options for the living room/dining room area, or the option to use just one or more lamps. The three of us were able to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the breeze and the canal views together. (If you like late nights, you might spot the family of foxes coming and going from the garden across the street!) There are two bus stops within three minutes of the building, and a co-op grocery downstairs. The building is very secure, the staff is friendly. We wanted for nothing, had a spectacular stay, and would love to stay again! Thank you, Shahryar!

Large modern apt overlooking the canal

The only problem we had A lovely bright property with a useable deck. Plenty of room and well equipped.Other than in a store I've never seen as many spices as available if you like to cook.The Coop in the basement and the coffee shop next door are big plusses.The only problem we had is that we have limited mobility and the tube stops are a distance away

Has potential

The owner was easy to access,. There is an active construction site 20 feet from the flat, very noisy during the day.The flat needs a thorough cleaning and a refresh of the carpets, painted walls, and soft goods (pillows, towels, etc. The flat also needs to be deodorized as the smell of old food and cooking is pervasive and de cluttered as there is an abundance of half used personal products throughout each room. Nice features were plenty of hot water, and a grocer and coffee shop in the same building.

Noisy and not well maintained

- the building areas are under construction, but the owner never told. Noise is certainly a problem in daytime. The worst thing is that the workmen could walk pass and see the inside of the suite... totally no privacy. The owner is not honest!!! - the photo are beautiful, right? it is because they never show you the problems: a HOLE in the bath tube (can you believe it?), broken mirror, broken light, peeling paints, bedding with stains (possibly dry blood). Making money is not wrong, but dishonest is a problem.

Great apartment in the heart of London

The apartment is located in the heart of London; close to Angel/Islington which is a vibrant area in London with nice restaurants, etc. The apartment is really clean, has two bedrooms and bathrooms and a nice balcony. The bed is comfortable and you have enough storage for your clothes. The only downside of the apartment is that it is located close to a really busy street which requires to close the windows when you sleep (but please note, there is almost no place in London that is quite). Other than that the communication with the owner was excellent. No matter what question I had, he was super responsive! AMAZING. I will come back.

Apartment on Regent's Canal

This apartment was very comfortable and spacious. It has a large living room with a deck overlooking Regent's Canal, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and clothes washer (no dryer), a large bedroom with ensuite, and a second bedroom with a bathroom in the hall. The location is great and it was easy to walk to shopping areas along the canal. There are also bus stops near the building with easy connections to the underground. As well there is also a lovely park right across the street. There is an excellent grocery store on the ground floor of the building which was very convenient and a nice cafe next door. I would not hesitate to recommend this place for an extended stay in London.
