Live like a Londoner. The flat has its own entrance as originally it was a corner shop.
The open plan living/dining/kitchen is at ground level with a decorative fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking, if you wish. It has an oven, microwave, gas hob with extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge, freezer. There are two stools for eating at a counter.
A few steps down to the two bedrooms and shower room (with toilet and basin) and en suite bathroom (Shower over tub, basin, toilet and bidet).
The master bedroom, with en suite, can be arranged as a King bed (6ft/1.8m wide) or as two extra long twin beds. It opens onto a small patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee or an evening drink. Smoking is allowed on the patio.
The other bedroom has a Queen bed (5 1/2 ft/1.5m wide bed).
The living room has a sleeper sofa for one person.
The dining room seats 6.
The entire flat is about 900 ft 2 (80 square meters).
This is a non-smoking, non-pet flat.
We provide some items for your arrival but you will probably have to get more, especially for stays of more than a few days. Items include shower gel, hand wash, toilet paper, paper towel, dishwasher tabs, dishwashing liquid, tea, coffee, oil & vinegar.
We have a crib and high chair for use at no charge, upon request. Due to the nature of the decoration, the flat is okay for 2-5 year olds only if they are well behaved. It'll save you from constantly running after them.

The place felt like a home away from home. As a family we enjoyed hanging in the living room after a big day of exploring. The bedrooms were perfect for our family and slept great. The neighborhood was quiet and fun to explore. Location to several underground stops meant the city was extremely accessible. Joel, the property manager, was helpful during the stay.
Great location off the busy streets of London. A few minutes walk to Paddington Station or Edgeware road. Flat is well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
We were thrilled with our stay. Joel was super responsive to all of my questions, check in was very easy with the lock box and the location was fabulous - only a 3-5 minute walk to Paddington Station - which easily got us everywhere we wanted to go. It was a safe area and the unit was perfect for my family with plenty of space. The kitchen was fully stocked with nice appliances and plates/flatware. Would recommend to anyone and would stay here again.
The flat is beautiful and has everything we need. The location is perfect, between Paddington and Edgware Tube stations so we could easily go anywhere. Little Venice is a nice area for walking with plenty of places to eat or get fresh food. The owner is also very responsive, checking in with us and dealing with any issues immediately.
This was a great location for our family to spend a week in London. Communication with Joel was excellent. The neighborhood provides quick access to the tube and restaurants, but is also quiet and safe. It's very convenient to have the full kitchen, two bathrooms and three separate sleeping areas. All around a great place to stay.
Had a lovely time in this well-appointed and conveniently-located flat. It was a great base to operate from during our stay in the UK and Joel was super communicative and helpful. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Great property, close to 3 tube stations. Clean, safe neighborhood close to canal. Several places to eat but we used the nicely furnished kitchen alot. Good communication with very flexible owner.
Short walking distance to Paddington Station and Little Venice
Great location and terrific communication with very responsive and organized VRBO pro. Flat had everything we needed/wanted for a week and a half home base in London. Could not be easier getting there via Heathrow Express into Paddington.

The apartment was perfect for us. It was well appointed. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed-although we did eat lunch and dinner out. The bathrooms were modern and well appointed. Joel, our host was helpful as we planned our trip and answered all our questions. We were fortunate to meet him on our arrival day. We loved the location of the apartment. It was peaceful but not remote at all. Lots of places to grab food or a beverage. It was a great launching off point for the day. Being a short walk to Paddington Station was a huge plus. Little Venice was great to spend time in too. Definitely spend time along the canal. I would recommend this apartment to my friends and family.
I stayed here the week before the coronation with my spouse, mother and her companion. Joel communicated with us in detail from the moment we placed our deposit about the flat and its surroundings and he had lots of good advice. The flat was as advertised. The neighborhood is ideally located with easy access to all the major attractions in London. Little Venice is a hidden gem of a neighborhood.
Upon arrival to the flat we were very happy with the location. Easy to get to Paddington and Edgeware Road tube. The flat was clean and nice. Beds were comfortable. The only request I would have is more towels in both bathrooms. Other than that is was perfect! The owner was easy to get ahold of and very responsive. Would stay here again!!
This flat was absolutely perfect for our family of 4! The neighborhood is both quaint and quiet AND also very close to a "happening" night life. It's a short walk to a plethora of restaurants, bars and shops. The Little Venice area is a gem! Our college-aged kids are begging us to retire here! The owner, Joel, is a great communicator and so very accommodating at all times. We feel so lucky that this property worked out so well for us and we hope to stay here again one day. Thank you Joel!
Our family of four (two daughters/early 20s) stayed on Porteus Road right after Christmas thru the New Year. Perfect location to Paddington Station/train where you can pick up every major line. Flat was perfect for us & appreciate two bedrooms, two showers, a kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Host Joel was communicative/kind and offered many suggestions for dining (Briciole/Italian food that was an excellent local place where we thought we were dining in Florence), off-the-beaten path streets to wander and musicals to see, plus his welcome guide had great resources (Monty’s Car Service to/from Heathrow), grocery shops, etc. Truly enjoyed staying in a charming residential area that was quiet during the holiday rush. My family and I stayed at Joel's property during our first trip to London. We were thrilled with the property and the location. The house was better than advertised! It was clean, the size was perfect for a family of 4 and very centrally located. It's a less than 10 min walk to Paddington Station, restaurants and a grocery store. You are a short walk to Paddington Station which was very convenient arriving from Heathrow. Also, Paddington is a major connection hub so we could get to most places without changing lines. Lots of restaurants in neighborhood and several grocery stores to choose from. What is really great bout location is that while you’re close to everything the street itself is very quiet.
Flat itself was perfect for a family of four. Everything worked and it was a very comfortable place to stay. Joel was a great host. He provided a very detailed and helpful document with suggestions for transportation, restaurants, etc.
Perfectly located … 5 minute walk to the Tube. Beautifully outfitted London flat. Super comfortable beds. Everything you could need in well equipped kitchen. Updated bathrooms. Bright and well lit. Ground floor and no stairs. Netflix for a holiday movies at the end of a busy day of sightseeing. Joel was just a phone call away if we needed help. We all agreed, we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay.
My Sister, my Daughter and I stayed here and it was perfect. The location is great, close to tube station and walking to shops and restaurants. The flat is lovely with everything you could possibly need. Beds are very comfortable and the bedrooms have plenty of room and closet space. Having two bathrooms is a definite plus and the washer & dryer were definitely appreciated on a two week trip. We met both Joel, the owner, and Linda his assistant. They were both very nice and helpful. Joel sent us a lot of information about the flat and the surrounding area before our visit and it was all very helpful. We also felt very safe in this area. All three of us definitely recommend this property.
Quiet residential areas about a ten minute walk north of Paddington with easy access to both Edgware Road tube stations. The apartment had everything we needed. Kitchen was great for coffee and a quick snack-we didn't cook any meals there. Both bathrooms had showers. Beds were comfortable.
There weren't a lot of shops or restaurants within a couple of blocks, however, there were plenty within a ten minutes walk. Taxi fares to Mayfair, Soho, and Kensington were about 20 pounds and short drives.
It was nice to come back to this apartment after dinner and have space to spread out and relax.

Why they chose this property
The flat used to be a corner shop. It still has the stained glass windows with farm scenes. As I grew up on a dairy farm there was some resonance for me.
I was looking for a project and this house had to be completely redone. I have enjoyed doing it up, while learning the history of the area and the type of construction typical to London in the mid-19th century.
What makes this property unique
You'll like the location as it is central to the best parts of London. The area is quiet and residential but close to shops and restaurants.
We hope you, like other guests, will feel very comfortable in a flat that is like a home, much more than a rental flat or a hotel room.
