The Space:

Villa 3 at Villas By The Cove offers the charm of old Hawaiʻi with a modern twist in a newly remodeled, stand-alone villa originally built as a beach bungalow in the 1950s. Designed for comfort and privacy, this single-story retreat feels like a true home away from home, just steps from the ocean.



The villa features air conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops, a comfortable king bed, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Thoughtful touches throughout the space ensure a relaxed and convenient stay. Thoughtfully designed like a second home, Villa 3 comes stocked with essentials and travel extras: beach towels, iron and ironing board, tupperware, wine glasses, dishwasher pods, clothes drying rack, and more. Basic necessities—linens, bath towels, kitchen rags, travel-size toiletries, and pantry staples like salt, pepper, and olive oil—are also included.



Guests can grab the beach gear for a day on the sand, then return to cool off in the ocean-view pool or enjoy a BBQ in the lush tropical garden surrounded by mango and palm trees.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive use of Villa 3, including the private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living area, and covered lanai.

Guests can enjoy the shared swimming pool, two communal gas BBQ grills, and a complimentary washer and dryer are located on the property.

Two beach chairs, two boogie boards, a beach umbrella, and a cooler are provided for your sun-filled days at the beach.



The Neighborhood:

Villas by the Cove is located 25 feet from The Cove Beach Park where guests can mingle with locals, take surf lessons or body surf in The Cove's consistent small waves. Charley Young Beach, a long stretch of white sand ideal for beach walks and swimming, is another local favorite that's located at the end of the street, about a one minute walk from the property front gate.



Getting Around:

For the active and adventurous traveler, our prime location offers easy access to sun bathing, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, diving, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and whale watching. Also a golfers' paradise with nearby world class golf clubs less than 10 minutes away in Wailea and Makena. Restaurants, shops, nightlife, cafes, farmer’s markets, and Kalama Park are within a 5-10 minute walk from Villas By The Cove.

The villas are super quaint with a bungalow feel and well takin care of. We loved sitting out by the pool and talking to the other guests. The privacy of the fenced in and gated property was really nice and felt secure. Id definitely recommend staying here and I look forward to our next trip there.

AMAZING BEST PLACE TO STAY!!!

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days for our 10 year anniversary and it was amazing! Best location, amazing place and great communication with the property manager and owner. If we needed anything they would take care of it right away! the property itself was beautiful, pool, lounge chairs, yoga studio, it was best place we have ever stayed at! Highly recommend for a couple, family or girls or guys trip!!!

Excellent vacation

Nicely renovated cabin. Very clean, roomy, large shower, kitchen had all you need. Liked the huge mango tree providing shade for the patio. It's right across from a beach that has surfing/paddle boarding plus snorkeling/sand and we took full advantage of it. Located very close to shops and other amenities. Manager Ralph really looked after us, made sure we were comfortable and helped direct us to places around the area. It was an excellent vacation.

Great place, perfect location

Our beach bungalow was the perfect spot for an amazing trip to Maui. Everything is walking distance: grocery store, beaches, snorkelling, restaurants, cafes. The unit was clean and functional. We liked having a parking spot right at the door to the unit and not having to ride elevators. The manager/owner is great: excellent comic action and very helpful too. Recommended!

Perfect setting for a delightful vacation

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at Maui Cove Park Inn #3. The location is great - within walking distance of good beaches, restaurants, groceries, etc. Ralph is a manager committed to providing excellence with a smile. Maui Cove isn't a huge facility with tons of extras that you will never use and we like it that way! On-site amenities include: gated access, private parking, cable TV and FREE/RELIABLE WIFI, coin operated washer/dryer, air conditioning, beach chairs and umbrella for off-site use.

Awesome place!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in Villa#3. This place is just steps to an awesome beach with beautiful views. Ralph was great. He made it a point to meet us and was so helpful in getting around. We came to Hawaii for a good friend's wedding on Molokai which my husband was the photographer. We must have been in a rush leaving that my morning because my husband actually left the batteries for his camera. Ralph was nice enough to drop them off at the airport and save the day. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to be back in the future!

Fabulous!

What a great find! We made last minute plans to come to Maui over the Thanksgiving holiday. We found the Maui Cover Park and it was perfect. It was close to a semi-private beach, there were chairs, cooler, towels...everything you needed for a day on the beach. The unit was very nice, clean and had a little kitchen so that we could prepare our own meals. There were two BBQ's as well - which we used twice! Ralph was awesome - very helpful and full of knowledge about the island. There were stores and restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed ourselves and would love to return some day.

Great setting!

Aloha everyone, Great Clean units and super friendly management! My wife and I used to live in Kihei and know they area very well. We chose this particular rental due to its location and small quaint feeling. It is right next to the Cove Park which is great for beginner surfing and paddle boarding/kayaking. There is also a very private beach at this location that even most locals do not know exists! Great sandy swimming and sunsets at this groovy little beach! :-) There is some road noise at this location, but it did not bother us at all. Close walk to restaurants and amenities. And close to City bus stops if you do not have a rental car. Highly recommend this location for Couples, families and especially for family reunions!!! :-) A ohe hana nui ka alu i'a, Dennis and Sally Coeurdalene, Idaho

Pros: great central neighborhood next to everything, amazing to have a unit with a kitchen, super helpful gated parking area, beach essentials included in the rental, units are generally nice and clean, price/value ratio is excellent, truly excellent management communication and vibe, laundry on site Cons: some of the components of the units are cheap or unfinished, decent amount of road noise (earplugs worked), beds are high quality but have some significant depressions from use, families spend all day at the pool so privacy is highly dependent on the villa you get. Overall thought this place was good value and I especially appreciated the quality and speed of management communication. I would stay here in the future - would just strategically choose the villa with the best location. Thank you!

From the great white north

We have been to maui four times now and have stayed in seven different condos from high end to low cost. As we were only staying for a week this time we decided to opt for low cost. MCPI was without a doubt the best value of all. it is located right next to the best surfing in kihei which was our main interest for this trip. All amenities and the best beaches are within a short walk too.Ralph was amazingly cordial and helpful. He was genuinely interested in making your stay as good as possible. He made himself available at least part of most days and was always interested in feedback. He shared fresh mangoes with all of the guests from the large mango tree outside our cabin.The cabin we rented was a studio recently renovated, it was modern, clean and met our needs. Our week stay was a very positive experience and we will be returning to MCPI.

Beautiful and Very Convenient

We stayed ten nights in Villa 3 and it was wonderful! The villa is very comfortable and the whole property is beautiful. As others have noted, it can get a bit noisy given the proximity to busy South Kihei road, but it wasn't terrible. It can be a bit difficult getting in and out of Iliili road from and to South Kihei. The cove park across the street was wonderful for sunsets and watching surfers, paddleboarders, kayakers, etc. And Charley Young beach down the street was great for swimming and snorkeling (fish, turtles, etc). There were some things missing from the kitchen (e.g. scissors, sink stopper, etc) but we just grabbed these from Safeway. The communal areas were great. We enjoyed the small pool and laying out around the pool. The pavilion is wonderful for hanging out in the shade or chilling with an adult beverage in the evening. The music which played all the time was nice, but the playlist was a little limited ( a lot of repeats). The sunsets were great from the pavilion and we could watch the whales while standing on the pool deck. For most of our stay the only others staying were adults. However, in the latter part of our stay families with small kids arrived bringing a lot of noise to the small common area, but that can happen anywhere. The washer/dryer were great. And the Rubbermaid container full of snorkeling gear was awesome. The villas are a really nice alternatives to the all of the condo-only options available on Maui. We will be back!!!

Amazing Vacation!

We arrived at Maui Cove Park on April 13th, 2015 to stay for 10 days..traveled from Alberta, Canada. My husband and I stayed in Villa #3 and can't express enough how much we are grateful for Ralph and all of his help! Ralph was more than helpful with our vacation, he is always reachable and was there to answer any of our questions (even my pre-vacation panic about the weather). We had all beach necessities provided for us (chairs, towels, umbrella, cooler and snorkel gear if we needed). The villa is really clean, and is located directly across from a beach and a great spot to surf and snorkel. We used the BBQ's everyday, and that was a huge cost saving's for us! Down the road at Charlie Young Beach there is an amazing snorkel spot, where we seen sea turtles every morning (the key is to go early when its still calm). We did our grocery shopping at Safeway and Foodland and only did a few days worth at at time so we didn't have a lot left over when we left. The location of the rental is perfect, you are not in a typical "apartment" and overwhelmed, the location is quiet and more private. Ralph came over to meet us, went through the grounds with us, showed us where everything was, and also spent a lot of time answering our questions about the "must see's" of Maui which we listened to and loved every minute of it !! The "Maui Revealed" book that is there for you use is fantastic, we kept it in our vehicle during out stay and it is a huge resource. We do plan on returning to Maui in the upcoming years and will plan to stay at Maui Cove Park Inn, it was a perfect, quiet spot for our trip!

Cozy secluded home near great beaches and snorkeling!

This place was fantastic. It sits in the middle of 3 or 4 similar small vacation homes. This is the most secluded of the bunch nestled in the back. There is gate to get in and we felt very safe the entire stay. The accommodations were great with everything we needed for eating inside or for fun at the beach. There are big sliding doors with windows facing the beach but can be covered with blinds for privacy. There is an air conditioner and we were always comfortable. The bed is really soft which may be good or bad depending on your preference. You literally can walk across the street to the beach. If you walk 2 minutes north there is a great beginner surfing beach. Remember water shoes if you are going here because there is lots of coral and rocks but the surf is perfect to learn surfing or paddle boarding. Walk 5 minutes north on quaint little trail to a perfect sand beach which is probably my favorite beach on the island. The body surfing, boogie boarding or just laying by the beach is optimal. The sand is so soft without any rocks at all. In the middle of the beaches is some coral reef where we saw a few turtles and multiple colorful fish. It can have poor visibility at times but it was adequate to get a glimpse of the wildlife. There are multiple fantastic food places within walking distance that you likely don't need a car. You can rent a little convertible across the street for a trip to Hanna if interested. The price was more than reasonable for a private little villa. I would definitely come back here when we are visiting Maui.
