Welcome to the brand new Kihei Coop! This luxury beachfront condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was completely remodeled. Enjoy your next Hawaiian vacation in a beautiful home mere steps from the water, with spectacular sunset views from the private lanai.

Filled with designer touches, the condo is filled with modern amenities for your convenience. Stay cool via the multiple private A/C split units with separate controls in the bedrooms and living room. The bright and open kitchen has a gourmet coffee bar setup, including a gooseneck electric kettle, French press, and Keurig. For spectacular views of the ocean and beach park, the living room has floor-to-ceiling windows unencumbered by drapery. Have the best sleep of your life in the bedrooms, each having cushy Casper memory foam California king beds and blackout drapery/shades. The bathrooms each have walk-in showers with luxurious ceiling-mounted rain showerheads and bonus water wands. The beautiful finishes and contemporary furnishing all add to a luxurious home away from home.

Enjoy more privacy since the condo is on the second floor with easy access to the beach from the nearby elevators and stairs. On the premises, relish the protected swimming and snorkeling in the adjacent coastal fishpond where sea turtles frequently visit! Property amenities include a private outdoor pool, rooftop deck with 360 views (invaluable during whale-watching season), and free parking. The Kihei Coop was the perfect set up for two couples traveling together. The location was ideal for accessing all parts of the island. Area was not crowded or touristy. The condo was clean. Check in was easy and we appreciated the towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc which were so nice for our beach days. The options for brewing coffee were appreciated by our group. It was the perfect vacation!!

Our stay at this Condo, nestled in paradise, was nothing short of incredible! The location is quiet and peaceful and the water views are amazing! The condo itself was spotless, well-appointed and the beds were very comfortable. We felt right at home for the entire stay. Our boys loved the pool! The owners were quick to respond to any questions and were so helpful! Our family absolutely loved our vacation and although we didn't want to leave, we returned home feeling reset and recharged!

Perfect Condo in a 10/10 Location

This place was perfect for two adult couples. We each had our own full bathroom and king bed. It was stocked with everything we needed for the beach (towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc.) & everything we needed to cook and feel at home for 10 days. Location was perfect and convenient to everything you'd want on Maui. Appliances were all new - ice maker in the refrigerator was clutch, the blender worked perfectly for mixed drinks, washer/dryer were new and large. Hope to be back soon and will absolutely be staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful and very well-kept apartment. Great condo

Very nice condo, very attentive owners. Completely remodeled unit, would stay here again. Only slight negative is the pool is small and older but we didn’t come to Hawaii for the pool. You can walk 1.6 miles south on the beach, which was very nice!

Ideal location

We loved our time at the Kihei Coop! Helen and Mark were great -- check-in and out were very easy and during our stay, our front door code inexplicably stopped working, but Mark answered our call immediately and addressed the issue without delay! The grounds are beautiful -- we saw sea turtles on the beach and in the fishpond and really enjoyed our coffee on the balcony each morning. Being in Kihei was perfect-- excellent location to access stunning beaches, restaurants and other island activities.

Blissful Stay

The condo was perfect for two couples on a long weekend in Maui. It was well stocked with everything we needed from making breakfast in the condo, plus some extra bathroom necessities in case we forgot anything. Close to shopping and restaurants and the view of the sunset was fabulous. The host communication was excellent and was flexible with a little tropical storm over the island. 100% recommend.

April 2023 Maui Trip

The hosts Helen and Mark were very helpful and quick to respond to our inquiries. The condo was very comfortable and great attention to detail was used to furnish the home. The location is great - very centrally located to all areas of the island. This was our first time staying in Kihei and we really enjoyed the access to lots of local restaurants and beaches. My favorite part is the fishing cove right outside the condo property where the sea turtles come to rest. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are furnished with comfort in mind. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay and we really appreciated the filtered water in the fridge - this saved on having to buy water. This was a really great place - definitely met all of our needs!

Awesome!!!

Before leaving, I shared the good points of this space with my family. Except for the first one, the bowl was clean with no broken dishes. Second, it was nice that the shower head was not fixed. Third, I liked the wonderful view from the balcony. So, rather than sightseeing, I wanted to stay at the accommodation. Fourth, it is a furniture arrangement that makes good use of space. Fifth, the washer and dryer were as clean as new. Finally, 4 beach chairs were prepared, so I used them well. This is where I want to stay when I come back to Maui. Highly recommended.

Tasteful and Well-Appointed Condo

Condo is excellent! Helen & Mark have created a beautiful home away from home. Description and pics are accurate, but here are some extra details and notes.—Unit is tasteful, well-appointed, and very clean (tho décor restricts space to set your stuff)—Ample dishes, flatware, glasses/cups, serving bowls/trays, knife block etc. (no steak knives)—Detailed instructions provided for techy appliances—Firm memory foam beds -- perfect for our taste—ABUNDANT bathroom / beach towels supplied (slightly interfered with space to hang wet items and shelves to stow clothes)—Lots of bonus items: soft sided cooler, ice packs, chairs, umbrellas, fishing rods, sand pails, etc.—Split AC units were quiet & efficient, and allowed for diff temp prefs—Loved whale-watching from lanai - pack your binoculars!Nit-Picky Stuff: Ultra MINOR items may matter to some.—Shower floor is super-slick, might be difficult if you have physical limitations.—No bathroom fan for "privacy". —Googled how to use shower controls. —Small stick vacuum provided, doesn’t lift the ever-present, ultra-fine red-brown dust. A dust broom or Swiffer would be helpful.—A second end table would be nice so all LR seating has place for beverages / snacks.Complex (outside owner’s control):—TIGHT parking spots, rent a small car!—No early morning pool time, opens @8:30.—Area is quiet, not much in walking distance, expect to drive to restaurants, shops, etc.Overall, loved Kihei Coop!! Had a wonderful time!

We Loved This Place!

The hosts really hit this one out of the park- this unit was awesome! It's a great size and perfect for multiple people. There are 2 bedrooms and bathrooms so no one feel's left out- THERE IS A/C IN EVERY ROOM- Plus fans! I love the updates- great furniture and style throughout, awesome fridge that makes nugget and mini nugget ice, fabulous washer and dryer ... everything was brand new. You could live in this place, it was very thoughtfully done. There was great communication with the hosts- Helen and Mark were very responsive. There were little notes / tips in each room as well - wifi cards in each room and helpful hints under the glass tops across surfaces make it easy to find key information. We were sad to leave the unit and loved how we felt at home from the moment we arrived. The complex itself was nice as well- well maintained, clean and very tropical feel. The beach and grounds were VERY windy, but it's the location on the island. This made it hard to be out on the beach in the afternoons at times. The pool was also under maintenance while we were there.

Magnificent Condo and Location

The condo is beautifully remodeled and feels like everything is new. Super clean. It has an expansive view of the beach, ocean and the island of Kahoolawe. Sunsets from the lanai are spectacular. The host is super responsive. It is "high tech" with adjustable lighting and overhead fan controls, fancy refrigerator, several types of coffee makers, brand new Mitsubishi split AC. Furniishings and decor are top notch. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this condo. We booked last minute after holiday flight cancellation disrupted our schedule. Mark and Helen were really helpful and friendly and supportive. We would love to return and stay here again - my wife is telling me to add that. She also says it is like a 5 star hotel and I agree except it is better due to the privacy and expansive space. I've been visiting and living in Hawaii since 1969 and many properties along South Kihei road have road noise. This condo is very quiet and peaceful but you can go out on the lanai and hear the sounds of the ocean and birds, and there seems to be a tradition of conch blowing at sunset time in the neighborhood - which we found to be a pleasant acknowledgement of the beauty of sunsets in Kihei - magnificent indeed.

Better than expected in so many ways!

I could go on-and-on about how perfect Kihei Coop was for our family, but there's a character limit, but in short: if this place is available during your dates, BOOK IT NOW! Not only was the condo exactly as described, but it was so much more! The property is very well kept and has a charming old Hawaii feel to it, in a very good way. The grounds are beautiful and the view over the ocean and down the shoreline is perfect, especially since it doesn't receive direct morning and afternoon sun. The second floor location makes taking the stairs very convenient, and the unit is close to the access point, which is nice. The protected lagoon has a sand bottom and is a perfect place for kids to swim, as well as to swim with sea turtles, which we did every day of our trip. The location in Kihei is also ideal as it's a few mins away from more of the hustle-bustle, but very easy to access everything. Parking was also very easy, and the on-site Indian restaurant had great food and incredible open air seating with incredible sunset views. The unit itself is immaculate, and the recent remodel was done with a high level of thoughtfulness and quality. It is clear that Helen and Mark took great care in every detail and amenity; we truly couldn't have expected anything better for our stay, and we cannot wait to go back. On top of everything, Helen and Mark were the most wonderful hosts; it felt like we were staying at a family friend's place. Thank you Helen and Mark for sharing with us!

Our condo is nestled in the heart of Kihei, on the sunny South Shore of Maui, where breathtaking white sand beaches are at your doorstep! Enjoy the excellent swimming, kite surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and whale watching!

The property is adjacent to the ancient Hawaiian coastal fish pond of Ko`ie`ie, a historic landmark still used to this day for fishing and recreation. Within the protection of the fish pond's walls and offshore reefs, swimmers enjoy the calmer surf, learn to snorkel and when lucky, spot some anae (mullet), awa (milkfish) and honu (sea turtles).

A private swimming pool is also on the grounds, next to a sun bathing deck, floor shuffleboards, picnic tables and grills. Dotted with palm trees and well-manicured grass, the grounds are perfect for strolling, socializing or sunning.

Views are stunning from multiple locations around the property. From the condo, the master bedroom and the lanai (balcony) have spectacular views of the sunset, the beach park, and the changing colors of the morning light. The oceanfront restaurant overlooks the ancient fish pond, pool area and beach. On the rooftop deck, the lounge and grill area show panoramic views of the ocean and the slopes of the 10,023-ft. dormant volcano Mt. Haleakalā, which the Hawaiians named "House of the Sun."

Guests enjoy the convenience of this centrally-located property. It is right along South Kihei Road with direct access to the rest of South Maui (Kihei, Wailea and Makena), peppered with gorgeous beaches and delicious restaurants. Being on the Northern end of Kihei, guests can easily travel to Kaanapali or Kapalua for site seeing, or drive into "town" (Kahului) to get to Costco or the airport, or travel easily to the upcountry or the Road to Hana.

What makes this property unique

Visitors love that our newly-remodeled luxury condo, with beautiful finishes and contemporary furnishing, is only steps away from the beach. Guests can have a cold drink or a meal on the lanai (balcony), which overlooks the ocean with picturesque views throughout the day. Back inside the unit, the guest can enjoy multiple air conditioning splits, separately controlled for each bedroom and the common area. The condo has two separate bedrooms, each with California king beds and Casper mattresses. There are also two gorgeous bathrooms, and one is connected directly to the master bedroom with a double vanity (rare for most short term rentals). Coffee lovers have access to a scale, grinder and goose-neck electric kettle for making pour-over coffees. Or make two cups with the French press. Or conveniently make coffee quickly with the Keurig machine. The combination of these unique amenities lead to a memorable stay.
