Carriages Cottage 3 bedrooms all en suite. Ground floor continental king/twin bedroom shower en-suite with door opening onto patio. Kitchen/dining and lounge with door to patio. First floor one double with bathroom en-suite and one continental king/twin shower en-suite both with Juliette balconies. Set in 15 acres of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the Sid Valley. 3 miles Sidmouth seafront. Outdoor Pool, Tennis & Gardens. It is a peaceful holiday retreat to relax and unwind. With a heated outdoor pool and 15 acres of gardens and grounds to explore with land leading down to the banks of the river Sid or try tennis.

In the end I couldn't stay myself but 4 of my family stayed in Carriages Cottage and said they had a wonderful holiday at an amazing place

Beautiful and Welcoming

Although the weather was not the best we had a lovely time and Sarah and Steven couldn’t have been more welcoming. The views we’re beautiful and the heated pool and tennis court were much enjoyed by us all. The rooms were spacious and clean with everything we needed. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend it!

Ideal Break

Don’t usually write reviews, but this really was was a lovely place to stay. We took our dog and the grounds were ideal. Owners very friendly and helpful. Fantastic base to strike out and visit places such as Exeter, Beer, Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and so on. The only downside particularly when travelling with a teenager was the slow and sometime non-existent wifi. Though in all honesty the time away from screens was more of a blessing! Highly recommend.

Great country break

The location and Sarah and Stephen’s warm Devon hospitality made for a great way to spend our covid self-isolation time while travelling for work. Fresh air and beautiful surrounding beat the usual airport hotel stay any day.
