Terrific location in the 2nd Arrondissement. Easy walk to Louvre, Notre Dame, Picasso Museum, Le Marais. With good weather we even walked to the Sacre Coeur and the Luxembourg Gardens. A few hundred meters to the Les Halles metro and train stations. When you come out of the station, just look for the Cathedral of St. Eustache. The apartment is just around the corner. Many good restaurants and cafes within a few blocks. Great Monoprix grocery store downstairs in Les Halles. We had an issue with the stove top not working, but our host jumped right on it and had a new one installed. I will definitely stay here again. Yes, the steps could be a problem for some; but that means since it's on the top floor, it's nice and quiet. Great accommodation.

Good for work stay

Perfect family trip near the Louvre

As a family of 6, had a great time. The flat feels historic apartment with its exposed beams it was light with natural light coming in from lots of different directions. That was very special. near the Louvre. It was roomy enough for us, and its location near the Louvre made sightseeing easy. Highly recommended for a value for money stay in this lovely city

Great apartment in a great location

We loved this high-style, modern apartment retrofitted inside a 500-year-old building in the heart of Paris. Host is very responsive (best responses ever). Check-in is easy. Laundry machine is great. Shower is great. furnishings are comfortable. Neighborhood is perfect. Convent to LesHalles & Chatelet train/metro stations. We wish we could have stayed longer

Fantastic launching point to explore Paris

We had a fantastic stay at the Louvre apartment. It started with an unbelievable location that allowed us to explore Paris easily. The neighbourhood has great restaurants and cafes. We read through James' restaurant recommendations and had amazing meals and experiences. He did a great job of making our stay easy and pleasant with lots of helpful information and timely communication. Highly recommended.

Perfect location for a variety of activities accessible by foot. - Metro is one block away. -The local market is right outside your door on Thursdays and Sundays. - Shopping, food, the Lourvre...all within walking distance! If walking or climbing stairs is not your thing, then this is not your location. Marcelle's is the best cafe (!).

Fantastic location

The place is small but in a great location. There really isn’t room for more than 4 people. Also, the place is on the 4th floor and you have to walk up very narrow stairs carrying your luggage so beware if not everyone in your party can handle it physically. However, for a small party it is wonderful.

We spent 3 nights at the apartment. Location is amazing - great neighborhood (shops, restaurants, and close to metro). Apartment is on fourth level with access via spiral stairs so difficult with a large or heavy bag. Apartment is well appointed including aircon.

Location is the best

Really good place to stay in Paris. Our trip went far too quickly. We are a family of 6, location was outstanding and it was a good size for us. Outstanding value for money. Pad A Terre 3 bedroom properties were outside our own budget. No complaints. We all loved everything. We plan to come back to Paris again soon and would not heist to stay in the same apartment. Great - just as advertised!

We had a super holiday at "Louvre". The apartment was exactly as-advertised. Very comfortable beds. I stayed there with my wife , and 5 kids. Honesty for what we paid it was a bargain. We could not afford Pad A Terre's 3 bedroom so this was a great compromise. Great lively safe area near the metro. There is a grocery store below, lots of traditional shops nearby and a street market. James was on the ball replying and communicating and was fun to deal with! Thanks for a really good stay.

True Parisian bolthole

Lovely apartment. Perfect location. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Paris the location is perfect for tourists. We walked everywhere! The local café knew us by the time we left, we got great pizza down the road and the bakery opposite was our go to! The grocery is close and very well stocked. James from Pad A Terre was great at giving us tips on everything from where to eat or what to visit off the beaten path. We did a private tour of the Louvre (worth it!) and visited a couple of unheard of (to us) librairies. Used the car service and we highly recommend them! Prompt and clean auto’s. Thank you James for sharing your apartment! We hope to come back soon

Charming central penthouse unit

Our experience with Pad A Terre and the apartment was outstanding. We booked a car through them, were met by an agent (not by an automatic key box as in our previous place in Nice...) who answered all question. All very professional. Apartment is really charming and a penthouse so no neighbours above. So it was quiet, really quiet. Traditional market in the street Sunday. We strongly recommend this place. You can walk everywhere and we did. The strikes did not affect us as the area was privately managed. Great family holiday. Thanks James and team..

Louvre location is great

We had a great stay at Louvre. Clearn apartment, charming, fresh linen, great kitchen, lots of natural light. . The bottle of wine was just the perfect touch.Organised over 2 floors we had plenty of space for 6. Very Parisian beams, there are stairs which were easy and it added to the charm. We loved the location.Cafes, restaurants and a massive mall on the doorstep. 10 mins walk to the Louvre and the river. Fantastic. The host was great and bent over backwards to make us happy. Pad A Terre was a very professional outfit to work with and James was great to communicate with. We broke a coffee pot and james replaced it within an hour and did to charge us. We will most certainly be back and will use Pad A Terre again. Great personal experience. Cannot go wrong. Thank you for everything James

The location was excellent. We didn’t expect the apartment to be on the top 4th floor without an elevator and the steps are narrow and steep which make it very difficult to walk up with heavy luggages. The Bathroom toilet button was broken but the owner was able to get us the video on how to trouble shoot it. We couldn’t get the TV to work with the 2 remotes so next time be sure to ask your check in staff to show you how to work it before he leaves the apartment. Nicolas was very nice and helpful. Overall our stay was good.

Perfect place for a Paris getaway

The location of this place is amazing. Close to wonderful shops and restaurants. The Louvre is minutes away. The apartment was perfect for a family of 4 and the beds were super comfy. It was super easy to check in and check out. Thanks for a great stay!
