The York family have lived in Long Marston & Hutton Wandesley for over 150 years. They are farmers and farm the Hutton Wandesley Estate. We hope you have a memorable stay in a truly beautiful setting in the Vale of York. You will find information on nature walks from the Barn within the property but please do ask if there is anything you would like to see/discover in particular. We are here to make your stay in Yorkshire as memorable as possible and look forward to welcoming you to our home!

Why they chose this property

This is an incredible barn conversion which lacks nothing. Set in a beautiful rural idyll surrounded by field upon field. Barn owls fly in the evenings, deer and hares roam the fields. Walks and cycle routes directly from the barn or visit the local countryside or York, Harrogate, Ilkey and all the historical towns in Yorkshire. Beautiful stately homes, Castle Howard, Harewood House, Newby Hall & Gardens, Fountains Abbey on all your doorstep for days out for all the family, something for everyone.

What makes this property unique

The Granary is situated in the Vale of York, the heart of Yorkshire and all areas are easily accessible to visit and discover Yorkshire. It is the perfect hideaway and somewhere to come back to and relax after a day out. Equally, if you just fancy going for walks, a spot of fishing and a picnic on the Estate you don't need to get in the car at all. Immerse yourself in the true Yorkshire countryside and breath in the clean air.
