A great place for a family holiday by the sea
As a 3 generation family we enjoyed the privacy afforded by the layout of the house - everyone could find a quiet space at the end of the day. We loved being able to walk to the beach with no roads to cross and the sea views from the upstairs windows. The house is obviously a very loved home offering a level of comfort not usually found in rental properties. High quality crockery and bed linen were enjoyed. We all enjoyed our stay so much that all 3 children have asked if we can book again for next year.
Private parking is a bonus and the small sitting area outside but with a 4 year old a gate would have been appreciated.
We loved Bembridge and its position on the island and Number 16 was spacious and had all the facilities we needed. We appreciated the Welcome Pack including milk and biscuits as well as some cleaning items. However, on arrival we found a dirty wash basin In the master bedroom; an unwashed side plate in the crockery cupboard and crumbs in front of the microwave. The property is clearly difficult to keep clean, and we accepted this. But not the three matters mentioned above, as it made us query whether the property really had received a COVID-clean immediately before our arrival.
Well equipped attractive family home. Views of the sea from main bedroom and living room. Only 50 metres or so from the beach.
