The Beacon is a beautiful stone built detached house which stands in its own private grounds, surrounded by a walled garden which offer privacy to the occupants at all times. At the front of the house there is a garden offering unlimited views over Coldingham Bay and you can see the fishing village of Eyemouth in the distance.
The Beacon is a well presented and spacious retreat, with a sitting room, dining room, kitchen, morning room and the utility room all on the ground floor. The cottage has two televisions one with a DVD player for in house entertainment and the dining room even has its very own traditional coal fire for those cosy evenings in. For the more traditionalists we have a games room with a large selection of jigsaws, cards and board games.

Location, Location, Location!
Never stayed in a self catering property in such a beautiful location. Every morning waking and every return to the house a delight. We were a bit short on information and remembering the way from the kitchen to the fridge/freezer was a challenge although in a way that added to its charm! It was much more spcacious and comfortable than we had expected and would certainly return.
Lovely spotless clean property with the most amazing views and access directly onto the coastal path .
A wee bit dated but it had everything we required .
The owner couldn’t be more helpful either
We really enjoyed our break at St Abbs
We used the harbour cafe , which was lovely . We also went for a rib ride which was brilliant for my family aged from 8 upto 62
It was thrilling to say the least .
Thanks for a great week .
