About this property

Our woodland shepherds hut sits in a sunny glade among woodland flowers.The hut sleeps 2 adults and 2 young children under the bed on self inflating mattresses. Please bring children's bedding. For a bigger space see our stargazer tents for the summer

The woodland shepherds hut sits in a beautiful sheltered sunny glade in 10acres of ancient woodland. Once the site of a manor house owned by St Radigund's Monastery. The woodland has a beautiful peaceful tranquil energy about it. There is a sea of bluebells during April/May time and there are orchids, primroses, wood anemones.

Children can run free and climb trees. We offer a fun goat walking experience with Custard, Mustard, Carrot and Parsnip Clavertye Goats on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=icxfeJB6x64&t=33s

The village of Elham is only a half an hour walk where you will find pubs, a restaurant and tea rooms.

Dogs are very welcome £20 for one and £25 for two.

BYO bed linen and towels for £18 discount. Children always need to bring their own bedding and towels.

Idyllic spring break in the woods

We had a brilliant time in the private and idyllic woodland shepherd's hut! Hannah was very accommodating and made everything easy. Bed is comfortable, shower is warm and with strong pressure, very quiet and peaceful all around. Will come again, thank you Hannah!

A perfect unique getaway!

The host was so friendly and accommodating. Communication was also excellent. The fire pit was already lit upon arrival as requested. A beautiful cosy, well equipped cabin situated in a lovely quiet wooded area, surrounded by sheep and horses. Such a unique, quirky getaway. Would definitely recommend and stay there again!!

Hi, we are Hannah and Mark. Mark is the farmer and i run the glamping business. We have 2 children who are home educated.

There are horses, goats, chickens and ducks on the farm. We can supply our free range Non GMO eggs for £1.80 half a doz from our real free range chickens. Goat walking can be arranged for £30 a family with our resident goats Custard and Mustard. Spring of 2022 we should be taking on another 2 reject dairy boys.

We love our farm and are especially keen on allowing nature to do it's thing. We have 14 acres of bluebell woodland and 60 aces of wild valley which we love with a passion. We love the outdoors, horse riding, doggy walking, goat walking and bike riding.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful farm
