Wonderful stay

Hello, we had a very good time at this location. The hosts were very very kind and made a great atmosphere. The appartement had a wonderful view to the sea and the waves. Banana trees everywhere, typical atmosphere and smell of flowers. Thank you for this wonderful stay at your place. Wish you all the best!

Fantastic stay

We had a great stay in this quiet and peaceful location. The house has everything you need. The reception was warm. The location is perfect, for those who want to discover the beautiful island of Madeira, the most beautiful place we have ever visited. We will be back soon. Banana Plantation

We found this apartment extremely difficult to find with the directions given. We had to ask help from locals to find it. Perhaps it would have been easier if we had a GPS with us for directions. Once found the apartment was great, very quiet, had all we needed (other than a corkscrew for the wine). A lovely area to visit.

Amazing....

The apartment was perfect for what I needed which was a mini retreat for myself. I wanted a place I could cook and be home from home and this was exactly that. It was perfectly in walking distance of the beach and also a local market and healthfood shop. Walking west took me to a beautiful beach where I got to watch the sunset.... it is my version of paradise. Highly recommend this place. I am already planning a return trip!

Séjour au cœur de la bananeraie

Le logement est rustique mais bien équipé et propre. Idéalement situé pour visiter l'île. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Nelson et Fernanda qui ont eu la gentillesse de nous offrir des bananes (excellentes) de leur récolte.

Wir hatten einen schönen und erholsamen Urlaub auf Madeira. Die Ferienwohnung ist gut und schön ruhig, alles war sauber und es gab sogar für kalte Abende, die im November schon mal sein können einen Radiator. Vor unserer Wohnung fühlten wir uns wie in einem tropischen Garten mit Levada. Fernanda und Luis haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und auch mit leckeren frischen Bananen, im Holzofen selbst gebackenen typischen maderischen Brot und vielem mehr versorgt – das war wirklich toll. Lugar do Baixo ist ein guter Ort um in alle Himmelsrichtungen die Insel zu erkunden. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Nous venons de rentrer de nos vacances à Madère (presque 3 semaines) et avions loué l'appartement STAR MER au dernier étage. Il est vraiment très agréable avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. Il est très agréable de manger dehors face à la mer. La salle de bain est très bien (il faudrait quelques photos en plus sur le site). Les propriétaires sont charmants et Nelson nous attendait à notre arrivée pour faire le lien avec eux car nous ne parlons pas portugais. Super souvenir de vacances, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.
