About this property

UC River Ranch · Spectacular blue ribbon fly fishing

This stunning river front property is located on East River Road south of Six Mile Creek & Daily Lake right in the heart of Paradise Valley. The 7.64 ares is accessed through a gated entry and gravel road that flanks the Yellowstone River. A boat launch up river from the house makes putting in and taking off the river in a boat a luxury.

Boasting more than a quarter mile of unobstructed river frontage, the spacious cabin offers world-class fly fishing, panoramic mountain views of the Absaroka Range, Emigrant Peak, and endless recreational opportunities. The cabin is just 4 miles from Chico Hot Springs, 30 miles from Livingston and 20 miles from the North entrance of Yellowstone National Park.

The home itself is a gorgeous custom log home crafted from large native pines. The cabin is fully furnished with close attention paid to every detail. Jaw-dropping views from every window- giving truly memorable and unique Montana experiences with every moment. The floor plan is ideal for 2 large families or larger groups and comfortably sleeps 16 people! There are 2 spacious bedroom lofts on each second floor wing, separated by a great room and oversized dining area and flat screen tv. The master loft contains a king bed, a twin bed, a full private bath and a cozy secondary loft ("The Tree House") with a queen memory foam mattress accessible by ladder (Kids love it!). The secondary loft on the other wing contains a queen bed, 4 twin beds and a full bath. The cabin offers the spectacular "River Room" with a queen bed surrounded by windows on 3 sides overlooking the Yellowstone River. Additionally, there is a bunk room with 2 twin beds right off of the great room. The open plan kitchen and dining area have wood floors throughout, creating the perfect atmosphere for entertaining and gathering in a very nice, but relaxed way.

The home is very family friendly with kids' toys and areas to play.

There is a huge, wrap-around deck overlooking the Yellowstone River and the entire property. Newly installed deck with railings, solar lights and a propane firepit ensure you will be just as happy outside enjoying the views as anywhere! Ample seating and lounge chairs for the whole group! Just beyond the deck area are horseshoe pit and private path to the river and private boat dock. A meandering path connects the deck to the banks of your own 1/4 mile private stretch of the Yellowstone River for endless hours of blue ribbon fishing, floating and playing!

Garbage service is not available at this location, there are several places nearby to dispose of your bagged garbage, a map will be provided.

A 4wd vehicle is recommended for accessing all the area has to offer - to get to trailheads, boat ramps and general "off the beaten path" roads.

perfect cabin for fishing & hiking
The cabin was a lovely retreat for our fly fishing/yellowstone hiking family adventure. We had plenty of room and it was well appointed with things we didn't anticipate (extra paper plates, dishwashing supplies, etc.). Our fishing boats stopped at the house one day for lunch and we had a picnic outside. It was cozy, comfortable and just lovely. Thank you so much.

Yellowstone
This was and awesome first time trip to Yellowstone for us. The house was set in gorgeous place. The only issue I had was no shower on the main floor. I didn’t remember that being told in the description, or maybe I just missed it. We had a 76 year old with us so they had to walk up stairs every morning for a shower. The hot water was also very minimal. In fact, on day no one got showers because of no hot water. I did check the breakers and one was flipped so I reset it. It was better after that but the bathroom on the road side we never used due to no hot water, until the last day of our stay. We only had 5 and couldn’t get good showers for us all. Other than that we weren’t at the house enough for any more than sleeping.

Not much more you can ask for!
Stunning views and more places to sleep in the house than you can count. Appreciate the little things like bear spray for you. Used on a hike. Will be back!

Montana river ranch
Perfect location, beautiful house, the deck was the best part, but lots of mosquitos, Bring bug spray! We had a group of 14 adults, there was enough space, but not enough bathrooms, if the half bath on main floor was a full bathroom, it would of been easier, especially for the elderly in our group. Also, we ran out of hot water after about three showers which was very inconvenient, I think the hot water tank was big enough maybe just need to turn up the hot and that might fix it. Trail to river is nice, you can drive on it. The path right in front of the house is very convenient and what everyone wants to use, but very hard for older people and it needs groomed! House was easy to get into and property manager was very easy to reach. Overall we had a great trip and would stay again!
