About this property

The Yellowstone House and Fisherman's Cabin

It is the best of both worlds... you can relax, put your feet up, and enjoy the stunning views of the Paradise Valley of the Yellowstone, one of the prettiest places in the West. At the same time, you can also enjoy the comfort and convenience of a first-class home base from which you can launch your dream vacation, fish the Yellowstone River just out your front door, hike nearby 10,000-foot Emigrant Peak which is practically in your back yard, soak your bones just down the road at Chico Hot Springs, and see the wolves of Yellowstone Park just a short drive away. The main house has four bedrooms each with a queen bed. The separate Fisherman's Cabin has a queen bed and a loft with a twin mattress. The house and cabin sleep 12 comfortably and we have a couple of smaller mattresses for kids. We've also set up the property to host your wedding, rehearsal party or family reunion with an event barn that seats approx. 60. . Events on property are an additional cost separate from house rental negotiated with owner.

Your family will have plenty of space for a two-week vacation, but the location also works perfectly for long weekend getaways.
Fish, hike, raft, sightsee, relax any time of year. Less than an hour from Bozeman's airport, but far enough to hear the coyotes sing every night. It is all right here for you, at The Yellowstone House...!

About the host

Host profile image
We purchased the house and cabin in 2004 as we wanted to have a getaway for our family that was close enough to our home in Bozeman but also light years away in attitude and close to Yellowstone Park and the River. It has turned to be the best move we've ever made.
We get to spend time there as a family and share it with the world as well!

Why they chose this property

I spent several years working in Yellowstone when I was younger and had fallen in love with the Paradise Valley. It is one of the most beautifual and relaxing places on earth.

What makes this property unique

We are less than an hour from Yellowstone Park, two minutes from the river, ten minutes from a hike in the mountains, and ten minutes from world renowned Chico Hot Springs. The views from our deck are unsurpassed and the house has everything. Any questions?
