Amazing and we want to go back soon. Lovely cottage, lovely village, kids loved being there and the dog. Lots to see nearby. The owner could not be more attentive and the cottage is the best equipped I have ever seen. A lovely time.

Spent a lovely week at Bell Ringers early July 2024.
Spent a lovely week at Bell Ringers early July 2024. The cottage was clean and cosy with the option of central heating or log burner when it’s cooler. The cottage is well equipped with many extras, the welcome hamper was brilliant and even included treats for our pooch. There were even dog bowls, dog towels and poo bags! The garden is small but sunny and secure. There is a bird feeder in the garden with lots of lovely visitors, our favourites were the woodpeckers and grey squirrel. There is a well stocked community shop a couple of doors away which also has a community cafe, both open every day. There is a pub on the outskirts of the village which had been closed for some time but it reopened a couple of days before we left. Everyone we met in the village was friendly and helpful. Carol, the owner, is an exceptional host. She was helpful, communicative but never intrusive, a lovely lady.

It was perfect for what we wanted to do.
It was perfect for what we wanted to do. The cottage was clean and had everything we wanted and the hamper was wonderful on our arrival. Our dog even had some treats. The view to the front was of the church and the hills watching the sunsets in the evening was lovely.
We visited the Llangollen and area and even had time to go to Fairbourne and Barmouth one day, Bala Lake and train another and finally Chester and the National Waterways Museum. So much to see in the area we will return.
We were also extremely lucky with the weather. Thank you Carol for making us so welcome.
