About this property
Crannagael House - NITB 4 Stars
Crannagael House is nestled in the heart of the County Armagh countryside and is approximately 5 miles from junction 13 on the M1 and 6 miles from Portadown just off the B28, Moy- Portadown Road. It is a grade 2 listed, Georgian house set in spacious gardens and exudes an aura of tranquility and relaxation - come and recharge your batteries!
The space
Crannagael House is N.Ireland Tourist Board 4 Star accommodation. It is a grade 2 listed, Georgian house and is still owned by the same family that built it in the mid 18th century. It is surrounded by gardens, parkland and mature woodland.
The self contained apartment on the East wing comprises three bedrooms, one double, one twin and one single. It is attached to the main house and was once the laundry, dairy and servants quarters (although you will not be expected to participate in any of these enterprises!!) There is an upstairs bathroom and downstairs shower. It has a fully fitted kitchen, dining area and sun lounge which includes a separate patio and barbecue area. There is full oil fired central heating as well as a wood burning stove in the lounge.
Crannagael House has plenty to offer in the way of activities and attractions in the local area, walking, cycling and golf, all within a few miles radius. The Historic City of Armagh with its two Cathedrals, Observatory, Planetarium and Libraries is 20 minutes away, and Belfast 40 minutes. You can also visit the area where Game of Thrones was filmed!
There are also Shopping Centres, Leisure Centres, Cinemas and top quality Restaurants in Armagh and the surrounding area, let alone those that are in Belfast.
