Beautiful vacation rental which is even better than the pictures suggest. It is large and easily accommodates a group of 6, well equipped kitchen and wonderful backyard. The pool is large and fenced which is helpful when travelling with smaller children or dogs. Very nice and friendly owners. We had a perfect stay.

A beautiful house and garden for us to stay in. The pool was greatly enjoyed as were all the little spots throughout that you could relax in. We loved the daily trip into the village for croissants and bread. Apart from that we pretty much closed the gates and enjoyed the peace of reading, eating, swimming and sleeping. Be aware the last few roads leading to the property are narrow so large cars may find it challenging. A special mention to Cathy who greeted us and was quick to answer any questions we had. Much appreciated.

Beautiful house in great location.

We all had a great week in this beautiful villa, great location and the house was absolutely stunning with charming character. All the rooms were fitted out lovely and the garden and pool were a lovely feature to the house. Enjoyed our daily morning 5 minute walk to the patisserie in the village. Our dog loved the house with plenty of room to run around in the garden. Definitely a house to stay at and I would book a holiday again at the villa. The owner has done extremely well. Thank you.

I brought my family here to celebrate my mum’s 60th birthday. The location and facilities were fantastic and exactly what we needed. We were even allowed to bring our dogs with us and having a totally secure boundary made that process very easy. While we were there, my sister was ill so we contacted the property manager who came to the property within 15 minutes offering solutions and advice - a very big thank you to her for helping! Overall we loved the property and will definitely be returning. My only suggestion for improvement would be air conditioning in the bedrooms, however the ceiling fans did keep us cool.

A lovely house in a beautiful French village.

We are four adults, and we had a fantastic week in this quirky (in a good way) house. The Garden and pool area are quite lovely. Internally everything is very French, and just slightly oddball. Unique I would say. The only real criticism is I believe the house to be more suitable for a family with two or three children than four adults. Thus it loses a star. Aubais is a little village with some very narrow streets, so a small to medium car is to be preferred. Apart from two of the bedrooms being a little small, we really enjoyed our stay there.

PERFECT!!!

Incredible stay perfect in every way! The location is beautiful, small typical french village with every thing you need, no tourism but close to a large village of Somieres with an amazing farmer's marker, brocanterie. The house is incredible thick stone walls, antique furniture, beautiful earthen ware in the kitchen. Minor issue the fridge is not very cold there are 2 of them we choose to put liquids in the other which is slightly colder. We ate all our meals outside, the bakery is a 5 mn walk. Very good tapas place in town, vey good pizzaria as well. The pool was heaven very secluded in a beautiful landscaped area totally at peace with only the sound of the church bells chiming! I am in love with this house and the area!!

Excellent Villa in a lovely town

The villa was a really great, central place to stay, for two weeks, while we visited nearby tourist areas. The villa is really comfortable and well equipped. The weather was very warm and the villa was supplied with additional fans. We ate, every night, in the outside area between the kitchen and the upstairs bedrooms. The photographs do not show this area in its best light as it has been upgraded to have a substantial wooden roof. The garden is beautiful. The gated pool and surrounding area is perfect. The pool is kept very clean with a pool vacuum. The vacuum is actually a bit of fun when lazing around. Every so often the "tail" flicks out and sprays water in various directions. Very cooling in the hot weather! The streets in Aubais are very narrow. This was initially quite daunting. However, once you drive in and out of the villa a couple of times you find the best routes for you. All the amenities of Aubais are a short walk. The patisserie was a daily visit and supplied fresh bread and delicious fresh pastries (which was our treat with a coffee each afternoon beside the pool). In the town there is a really nice restaurant, a pizza place, an ATM, a pharmacy and a park or two with kids play areas. The nearest large supermarket was about 15 minutes by car. There were a couple of times we needed some some help from Cathy, the villa manageress. She was really friendly and only too happy to help.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, was das Kochen sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Der Garten ist wunderschön und lädt zum Entspannen ein.Auch die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und sehr komfortabel. Die Lage mitten im Dorf ist toll – alles ist gut erreichbar. Alles war sauber und mit Liebe gestaltet!Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können dieses Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen!"

Het huis is heel mooi en groot. De tuin is prachtig en het zwembad fantastisch. Heerlijk dat je op veel verschillende plekken kunt zitten. Vooral op het overdekte stuk tussen het woon- en slaapgedeelte hebben wij veel gezeten om te eten, spelletjes te doen en te relaxen. Voor ons zeker een verblijf om te onthouden en nog eens terug te komen!

Sehr schönes Haus, in dem es an nichts fehlt. Die Ausstattung ist großzügig. Es befindet sich im historischen Ortskern, ist dennoch nicht beengt, ganz im Gegenteil. Das Schwimmbecken ist groß und bemerkenswert gut gepflegt, das gilt auch für den überaus ansprechenden Garten. Man fühlt sich in den Häusern (es sind tatsächlich zwei zusammengelegte Gebäude) wohl. Ein eigener Parkplatz, im kleinen Hof des Hauses, ist ebenfalls vorhanden, was sehr praktisch ist. Darüber hinaus waren Kontaktaufnahme und Empfang durch die betreuende Person angenehm, vielen Dank dafür insbesondere an Madame K. !Ein Hinweis bezüglich der Anfahrt zum Haus in Aubais-"Zentrum" soll nicht unerwähnt bleiben, nämlich die unglaubliche Enge der Gassen. Mit etwas Vorsicht und Geduld aber zu bewältigen.

Ferien wie im Paradies

Von dem Moment an, als wir hier angekommen sind, haben wir uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein traumhaftes Anwesen mit einem malerischen mediterranen Garten, der an verschiedenen Stellen zum Verweilen einlädt. Der Pool sorgt für eine schöne Abkühlung und ist natürlich gerade mit Kindern sehr willkommen. Abends haben wir auch öfter Boule im Garten gespielt (dort gibt es extra eine Boulebahn). Das Haus selber ist in zwei Trakte aufgeteilt, in einem sind die Schlafzimmer untergebracht, im anderen die grosse Küche, die wirklich mit allem ausgestattet ist, und das Wohnzimmer - jedes Zimmer sehr schön dekoriert. Der Bäcker in Aubais hat wunderbare Patisserie und sehr leckere Brote. Nicht zu vergessen das Tapas Restaurant Florès! Es ist uns sehr schwergefallen, diesen wunderschönen Ort nach einer Woche wieder zu verlassen und wir werden sicherlich bald zurückkommen.
