Comfortable, well-equipped, & ideally situated. The street was quiet for a city-centre location. Easy walking distance to good eateries & shopping. Close to Glasgow Green for long walks along the Clyde. We’d book again.
Jacqui was a fantastic host, with great communication. Check in/out details were very detailed and easy to understand. The property was very clean and comfortable and in a convenient location. Would stay here again!
A great place to stay when you intend to visit Glasgow, just a 5-minute walk to get to the city centre. There were three of us in the flat and we found everything we needed.
Very conveniently situated flat. The communication with Jacqui was very easy and she was kind enough to provide a cot and high chair. So we managed to stay the four of us in the flat.
An apartment practically located, with the essential items to enjoy a few days in Glasgow. Instructions to activate the range hood were not readily available. Opening the apartment door wasn’t easy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Such a lovely flat, just a quick walk to Buchanan and city center. Good neighborhood.
Comfy bed, wonderful French balcony, great tableware and cookware, tv has all the channels, good storage.
Down the street is the best little cafe, Outlier, and within walking distance was The Scotia (haunted bar), The Pavement (fab shawarma), Ivy (upperclass dining), The Horse Shoe (famously Scottish bar).
Been traveling a fair bit and this flat had everything we wanted. Highly recommend.
Really great property and was ideally suited to our location needs. Clean and fresh with a bright atmosphere. Car parking across from the property was free from 6pm to 8am and bigger car park within 5 min walk. Only one negative and that would be having no control over the heating. It was quite wet when we were there so with the heating being controlled by the hosts our jackets didn't dry.
Other than the cleaners not doing a very good job between renters, the flat was overall very nice. The bed was not very comfortable, but we are a bit older and have some aches and pains anyway. I love that there was a fan available as we always sleep with a fan on at home. I also appreciated that not just anyone can walk into the building.
The flat was comfortable and convenient for our stay in Glasgow. We were a 5 minute walk to Glasgow Green, where the Worlds were held. It was a longer walk (25-30 minutes) to get to the National Piping Center and the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. Those walks allowed us to see more of the city. There are numerous restaurants within a few blocks of the flat. The hallways in the building could use some TLC, but it is all cosmetic. There is no on-site parking, but our host alerted us to parking options in the area. I would recommend this property for those visiting Glasgow.
Thanks for your review Linda. We're glad you enjoyed your stay.
