4-room house 120 m2 on 2 levels, on the ground floor, very tasteful furnishings: living/dining room with open fireplace and satellite-TV. Exit to the terrace. 1 double bedroom. Exit to the garden. Kitchenette (4 hotplates, oven, dishwasher, micro wave). Shower/WC. Upper floor: 1 room with 1 bed, 1 double bed and shower/WC. 1 room with 2 beds and shower/WC.

Nice farmhouse, 2 storeys, renovated, surrounded by fields and vineyards. 5 km from the centre of Gambassi, 15 km from the centre of San Gimignano, 40 km from the centre of Siena, 50 km from the centre of Firenze, in a quiet position on top of a hill. Private: grounds 1'500 m2 (fenced), well-kept garden lawn, plants and flowers. Terrace (150 m2), garden furniture, barbecue. Linen change weekly. Parking in the grounds.

Shop 5 km, restaurant 2 km, railway station 'Certaldo' 5 km, outdoor swimming pool 5 km. Tennis 5 km.

Nearby you can taste Tuscan wine and olive oil, horseback riding, Italian cooking classes.

Perfect villa with a fabulous view

We were very impressed with the property and the host. We had a very pleasant stay and the views from the garden are fabulous. There are amenities in the town 10 minutes away and very handy for Florence and Siena little over an hour away.

Family get together

Parents and 2 daughters visiting with spouse, 8 days apart. Third friend came on last week of stay. All of us visited many spots in Tuscany by both driving and by train. Also went to Rome. House and location is superb with great views. Surrounding countryside is beautiful and the local people are very friendly.

Great time at Gambassi Villa

The Villa we stayed at in Gambassi Terme was perfect for us! Leonardo was very attentive to our needs and personally greeted us when we arrived. We loved the location among the vineyards and olive trees. The Village of Gambassi was quaint, beautiful and the people were very friendly. There were many easy day trips and we really experienced the culture, history, and beauty of Tuscany. The villa was very comfortable, charming, and well equipped. We would love to come back there if we get the chance again!

Delightful property in the heart of the glorious Tuscan countryside

Wonderfully situated property in a very peaceful location made for a relaxing holiday. Lots of walking close at hand, including stretches of the Via Francigena. Equally, many classic Tuscan villages/towns within easy reach by car. We were lucky enough to have unseasonably hot weather and the air conditioning within the property was effective and essential! The owner greeted us in person and gave us a full and clear check in. We had no reason to trouble him during our stay and checkout was equally straightforward. We have no hesitation in giving a 5 star recommendation and hope to return.

Beautiful Tuscan home

I don’t usually leave detailed reviews but what a fantastic property. Such a pretty and peaceful location and perfect for exploring Tuscany. Leonardo and Andrea are also exceptional hosts. We had quite a few mishaps on the day of our arrival and did not get to the home until 11:00PM, but Andrea was there to cordially greet us.

Beautiful holiday house in the countryside

Very nice and clean house in the countryside of Tuscany. Very well equipped house with all things needed. We were 5 people and the house has a lot of space. Leonardo is a fantastic renter and very helpful. He gave us many tips and was always answering our questions quickly! We had a great time :-)

Excellent Villa in rural Tuscany

Everything about this Villa is superb. It is beautifully kept and maintained, the host was very helpful and met us when we arrived. Just 50 minutes drive from Florence Airport, but well in the heart of rural Tuscany. The nearby town of Certaldo has everything you need plus the railway station which meant lovely trips into Florence and Siena without all the hassle of driving and parking. I can't recommend this Villa and the surrounding area enough. A lovely holiday with wonderful memories and I would certainly book again or recommend it to my family and friends.

Lovely setting and spacious bedrooms

Nestled in a quiet location amongst Olive Trees and Vineyards down a track 1km from the road this is a great place for a relaxing holiday. The bedrooms are spacious and each has their own bathroom. We had good weather at the end of October, but it was a little cold in the evenings to take full advantage of the outside area. It makes a great base for exploring Tuscany - we did day trips to Pisa, Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. Leonardo was really helpful in answering questions before arrival as well as staying to greet us when our flight was delayed. Recommended.

Delightful visit to Tuscany

We had a delightful visit in Tuscany. This was the perfect Tuscany villa, set in the middle of vineyards, amongst the rolling Tuscany hills. The house was exactly as described, it’s a beautiful area, scenic, quiet, and a wonderful place to be. There’s plenty to do nearby and we had a wonderful visit. We were able to visit several vineyards for wine tastings, experience the medieval town of San G and take a day trip to Florence to visit the infamous David and other museums. Our host, Leonardo, was quick to respond to our “experience” based adventures with helpful tips in navigating the area. We spent mornings and evenings strolling the vineyards and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Fantastic property and amazing host

Our stay at this lovely Tuscany property was truly exceptional. The house is incredibly charming and the views from the terrace are simply amazing. The house itself is super spacious with 3 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and an amazing living which exceeded our expectations. The kitchen, fully equipped with all the amenities, made us feel right at home. In addition to the property's excellent features, its central location in the heart of Tuscany made it easy to visit Florence, Pisa, San Geminiano, Lucca and Volterra. Our host Leonardo was very responsive and exceptionally helpful and friendly. Magical villa in GambassiTerme

I have been meaning to share my thoughts on our recent vacation in Tuscany, but as usual, work got in the way.My wife and I are fairly experienced travelers, with trips to England, Scotland, France, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland. That said, no trip is ever completely perfect. On this trip we failed to convert enough U.S. dollars to Euros, for example. But any imperfect experience was quickly whisked away once we cross through the gates of our villa. Even with all the day trips to neighboring small towns, the villa quickly became my sanctuary, often sitting under the pergola looking over the acres of olive groves while sipping a martini.Leonardo and Andrea were great hosts, but I must offer an additional comment about Leonardo; I am currently fighting not one, but two cancers. I’ve had procedures that made me uncomfortable about traveling abroad. I reached out to Leonardo as we were approaching our final cancellation opportunity. I explained that I wouldn’t know if I could make the trip until about a week past this date. Leornardo not only extended the cancellation date, but offered very touching words of comfort that could only have come from the heart. Obviously we felt comfortable enough to make the trip and not surprisingly, it was truly magical. There are no ratings high enough when speaking of Leonardo and of course, Andrea.Thank you for the trip of a lifetime and I hope to see you again in the not too distant future.BDYE

Nous avons passé trois semaines merveilleuses dans cet endroit paradisiaque. Entouré de vignes et d’oliviers, le site est au sommet d’une colline et les promenades sur l’allée qui y mène est un pur enchantement, avec parfois la vue sur San Gimignano. Et cet endroit très retiré n’est pourtant qu’à quelques minutes en auto de Certaldo où on trouve supermarchés, restaurants et gare de train pour Florence. La plupart des points d’intérêt majeur de Toscane sont à moins d’une heure de route. La villa est d’une propreté impeccable, bien équipée et d’une chaleureuse ambiance qui reflète parfaitement l’art de vivre dans la campagne toscane.Quant à nos hôtes, Leonardo et ses parents sont respectueux de notre intimité et l’on a grand plaisir à converser avec eux à l’occasion. Bref, on retrouve ici tout ce qu’on attend d’un séjour de rêve !

Urlaub mit Freunden

Wir waren mit Freunden 1 Woche in der Toskana und konnten die Zeit in diesem typischen Landhaus verbringen. Dieses liegt abseits vom Trubel auf einem Hügel mit herrlicher Aussicht. Von dort aus lassen sich alle Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toskana gut erreichen. Die Zimmer sind sehr gerräumig und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, der Kontakt zu ihm ist unkompliziert und schnell. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft mit gutem Gewissen weiter.
