Villa Luciano :

Villa Luciano is a lovely 12th century vacation rental villa located at the 100hc Pandolfini Estate. This is a marvellous estate that comprises of a private forest, vineyards, Olive grooves etc. The estate is just 10km from the historical centre of Florence. There is a cute little village right near the villa, good for icecreams in the afternoon and fresh fruit & veggies from the farmer market on Wednesday mornings. There is a butcher, two pizzerias, bank, chemist, and a couple of good general stores within 10 mins walk. The Lastra a signa train station also is just 700 metres from the estate. We run a cooking school on this estate. We can also easily arrange a chef to come and cook for you some evenings if you like or you can join in on the cooking classes or just come for lunch/dinner if you like.
Very family friendly, we have other families staying at another part of the estate so your children may find playmates to keep them entertained or exploring the 15 hectares of forest behind the property (there are also marked walking trails).

The area surrounding the estate is rich in things to see and do. 'Vinci' the birthplace of Leonardo di vinci is not far away and here you can tour through his museum. The view over the surrounding Arno Valley is an aweinspiring sight. Bike rentals and horse riding are available near by. There is also a golf course near by the estate at a walakbale distance.

Accomodation :

Villa Luciano is a marvellous 120 m2 house. The 12m high ceilings, wooden beams, terracotta floors and large windows open onto the beautiful renaissance garden. There is a spacious air conditioned living room with arches dividing the dining and sitting area. From the living room 2 sets of double windows open onto the very typical Italian style gardens with lemon trees, hedges and fountain. Sunny, very peaceful and private. On the floor there is 1 double bedroom with 2 single beds and an ensuite bathroom, stylish Italian furnishings. Steps lead to the second large double bedroom on the first floor and second bathroom. Outdoor dining or relaxing in your private garden . This farmhouse apartment is very quiet and private. There is a laundry with washing and ironing facilities. Public transport within walking distance and also all types of shops, pizzerias and bars.

The villa is fully equipped with full stove and oven, fridge, toaster, coffee maker, Washing machine, iron and ironing board, cellular telephone, house linen, maid service on arrangement, communal pool, garden furniture, internet point on the property. Many hilltop restaurants of high quality located in the lovely medieval villages and hamlets adds as a treat to the guest. For the ceramic enthusiasts there is at a few kms a museum and many artisans.

There is a large inground swimming pool 12x6m set amongst the olive trees that is shared with the other guests. This is the perfect place to discover Florence and enjoy the real Tuscan countryside. The rates are for 4 persons, there is a sofa bed (2single beds) in the living room (see extra costs for 4-6guests). 20mins to Montecatini.40 mins to Pisa / Lucca / Siena/ Bologna. 60 mins to Forte Dei Marmi/ Volterra/ San Gimignano/ Arezzo etc.

The owners speak; English, French, German and Italian.

*** NOTE *** Additional charges : Final cleaning fee of 75 euro + Tourist tax of 2.5 euro pp / day for 4 nights ( children below 14 years of age are an exempt ) and a refundable security deposit of 400 euro on arrival at the villa.
