Great location. The place was quiet even when others arrived. Plenty to do around the area or just settle in and enjoy the peace. Water in shower was slow to heat up, but that was the only downfall.
My dad and I came up for some fall fishing start of November. This was a perfect place to stay, REALLY clean and great location. Thanks for the hospitality Mike, had a great time!
The cabin is extremely clean, well stocked with kitchen essentials for cooking & the beds comfortable. We could not connect to WiFi, however, & our questions to host weren’t answered. If you plan to work from cabin or need WiFi, make arrangements ahead to ensure connectivity. This was a minor issue for us & overall enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend this place.
I walked into a decent homey place but upon further inspection saw unclean sheets, a bug filled bathroom, and stained moldy ceiling. I love that this house is located near a beautiful lake and is nice and quiet but wish the cleanliness was better.
The location was easy to find, and the property was very peaceful and relaxing. There are other cabins nearby, but you have an unobstructed view of the Fox River's backwaters. You have the view from inside your cabin or on the deck. We brought a kayak, and the property had a great spot to launch it to get right on the water. Saw various wildlife on the paddle. The property manager is very responsive and helpful. The cabin had all the amenities we expected and required when we traveled. If we need a short stay while we are in the area next time, we will book it again!
Tiny house. Glad it was only me there. Internet was sketchy. River view is actually a distant channel. Not moving water- which I craved. But found in a nearby Omro park.
My two boys and I stayed in the Flathead Cabin, it was the perfect size for us. Very clean and well-maintained, it had everything we needed for our stay. Mike was a wonderful host and came to check and see if everything was going ok with our stay and he let the boys use the paddle boat. I spent most of the time just enjoying the scenery and the silence. It was a wonderful stay. We will definitely be going back.
Rented on of the small cabins, was old cabin but quite nice on the inside. Far enough off the beaten path that I felt comfortable actually leaving all my fish equipment in my boat without fear of it getting stolen. I trailered my boat back and forth to Winnebago, trip down river would have taken too long. Was no other people with boats staying there but could see if was parking could be a slight issue. Sure he would work that out. Was quiet there, no traffic noise or noise of any sort. Perfect place to stay if just looking for something small on a single trip like I did.
The cabins were rustic and comfortable and well-appointed with all the necessities for cooking meals and living. The location was quiet and natural. We brought our kayaks and put in right out front for some great river paddling. Mike was very accommodating and helpful, easy-going and very quick to respond to all inquiries. The area is great for a summer getaway with all the charm of rural Wisconsin.

Good host, clean beds
The cabins were clean and all we could have asked for. Boat parking can be a bit limited - we managed, but had to scatter them around somewhat (had four boats with our group) so be aware of it. Mike was an excellent host. Would recommend for your fishing trip.

Great place to stay.
It has everything you need. You don't have to bring anything. Off the beaten path. Quit, peacefully, and relaxing. If you have kids they will have lots of space to run and explore.😀
