Casa de Gertrudis is a lovely and romantic rural house in a completely renovated, typical Andalusian farmyard. Hidden between plants and trees, it is ideally situated only 200m from the magnificent beach of El Palmar. It is suitable for families and lovers of nature and beaches, relaxing and discovering the old Andalusia. Located near one of the most beautiful landscapes of the Costa de la Luz, this truly romantic house offers its residents the tranquility of the Spanish country life.

Please note that, while Casa de Gertrudis is very private, it shares the garden with another house, Casa de Maria. We also offer a third villa next to these two houses, Cortijo de Huerto, which has a private pool.

Paradise in spain

Very nice elegant houses , in a green area close to thE beautiful sand beaches. The owner Juan Antonio is very kind en quiet person. You have to like the animals in the compound, the 3 dogs and several cats , chickens walk around. Great place to stay.

Kleines Paradies in Strandnähe

Wir hatten ein paar wunderschöne Tage in Juans kleinen Paradies. Der Garten mit den vielen kleinen künstlerischen Details und die Tiere um uns herum hatten es uns wirklich angetan. Juan ist ein herzlicher Gastgeber. Er ist immer um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht. Zum Frühstück gab es frische Eier von seinen Hühnern. Unser Apartment war mit allem eingerichtet, was man benötigt. Alles mit vielen kleinen Details und gemütlicher Einrichtung. Was man allerdings erwähnen sollte: Wer hier Urlaub macht, sollte Tiere lieben. Natürlich sind sie nicht immer still und laufen überall frei herum. Wir fanden es aber toll, mit so viel Leben um uns herum.

Un lugar mágico y hermoso - ein wunderschöner Ort!

Ideal para desconectarse del estrés y reconectarse con la naturaleza. La atención de Juan ante cualquier duda nuestra excelente, amable y discreto a la vez. Aparte del jardín hermoso compartido, la casa tiene su terraza propia en un entorno natural y con detalles decorativos artísticos - es una verdadera joya! Ein Juwel unter den vielen auf dem Ferienwohnungsmarkt angebotenen Objekten - individuell und mit künstlerischen Details und persönlicher und dennoch diskreter Präsenz des Besitzers Juan für alle aufkommenden Fragen. Wer nicht an den ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernten Strand will, kann in dem wunderschönen allgemeinen Teil des Gartens oder auf der zum Haus gehörenden eigenen Terrasse die Seele baumeln lassen.

Traumwoche bei Juan Antonio

Der Hof liegt am Rande eines Dorfes, das Dank der Touristen nicht mehr so klein ist. Die Vorteile überwiegen eindeutig. Kleine Geschäfte und Möglichkeiten zum Ausgehen sind so vorhanden, trotzdem findet man Ruhe, vor allem auf dem Hof. Hier tritt man in ein kleines Paradies ein. Tierlieb sollte man allerdings schon sein. Die Hunde und Katzen sind ausgesprochen freundlich zu den Gästen auf ihrem Hof. Die frischen Eier sind köstlich, zu ihnen gehören Hühner und Hahn sowie deren Geräusche. Das Haus ist klein, gemütlich und schön, auf der Terrasse sitzt man gemütlich und privat. Bei Fragen oder Problemen hilft der Besitzer schnell und freundlich. Der Strand ist einfach und schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir haben die Zeit genossen und wollen ganz sicher wiederkommen.

Ein kleines Paradies in Strandnähe

Ein kleiner Garten Eden in ruhiger Atmosphäre: Wer etwas abseits vom Strand(-Trubel) El Palmars Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Gastgeber Juan Antonio hat seinen kleinen Bauernhof zu einem richtigen Paradies umgewandelt. Der Garten ist wunderbar verwunschen gestaltet, und auch in den Apartments mit einem Hauch von Kunst und Shabby Chic fühlt man sich rundum wohl. Wer zudem tierlieb ist und landechtes Hühner-Gegacker mag, sollte hier unbedingt einkehren. Wir haben unsere Zeit dort sehr genossen.

Paradies mit Schönheitsfehlern

idyllische Situation, insbesondere für Familien mit kleinen Kindern wegen der vielen zutraulichen Tiere geeignet. Große Ruhe, die Geräusche der Tiere stören eigentlich nicht, man ist halt auch einem "Rest"-Bauernhof. Freundliches Entgegenkommen des Vermieters. Immer wurde erneut nachgefragt, ob auch alles in Ordnung ist. Die Schönheitsfehler: das Grundstück liegt nicht 200, sondern eher 500 m vom Strand entfernt. Das Bild mit dem Bohlenweg durch die Dünen suggeriert, dass das Grundstück da schon beginnt, man gewissermaßen seinen Privatzugang zum Strand hat, das ist aber nicht so. Wir haben uns insoweit etwas getäuscht gefühlt. Das Haus selbst und damit auch die Zimmer sind doch relativ klein, was ebenfalls aus den Bildern nicht erhellt. Die einzelnen Räumen haben wohl im Regelfall unter 10 qm Nutzfläche. Die Ausstattung ist komplett, jedoch eben nur mit dem Minimum versehen. Wenn z.B. nicht eine einzige bequeme Sitzgelegenheit (zum Lesen etwa) vorhanden ist, wirkt es doch etwas karg und das ist es insgesamt auch. Wenn man sich darauf einstellen kann, weil die Information darüber im Vorfeld ausreichend ist, ist auch alles in Ordnung. Dass im Oktober ungewohnt niedrige Temperaturen herrschten, hat die Sache noch zusätzlich belastet. Wir haben hinsichtlich Komfort und Bequemlichkeit weitergehende Erwartungen gehabt - vielleicht lag es ja auch an uns - und haben deshalb im Nachhinein zwiespältige Empfindungen. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis erscheint uns unter diesen Umständen auch eher ungünstig.

A beautiful home in an oasis of calm

This was our fifth visit to Juan Antonio's casas, our second stay in Casa Gertrudis. The casa is very tastefully decorated with artistic touches throughout. The bathroom is brand new with an excellent shower. We slept very well all week. The outdoor space is shady and pleasant and there is a beautiful restful area for guests as well with a fountain and hammocks. We love the organic natural way of life, with friendly dogs, cats and chickens and Juan Antonio is a very friendly host. The casas are located in a beautiful lush green garden. El Palmar is perfect for those who like a wild beach and just a handful of amenities. There is a supermarket about 20 minutes away which has lots of fresh produce and a fishmongers as well. There are 3 good restaurants serving local fish and quite a few cafes. When the surf is up you can still swim at the next beach Zahora or small beaches to the west of Conil which is a town worth visiting. Vejer is also nearby, a stunning town set up in the hills.

Eine entspannte Idylle in einer grünen Oase ...

Liebevoll eingerichtet mit stilvollen Details - da fällt der Stress gleich ab. Das Häuschen liegt in einer grünen Oase mit Hühnern, Hähnen (ja - die morgens auch krähen ;), gepflegten Katzen und lieben Hunden. Wir haben uns gleich wohlgefühlt! Der gemeinschaftliche Garten mit seinen Hängematten unter schattenspendenden Bäumen ist ein wunderbarer Rückzugsort und Juan-Antonio ein unglaublich hilfsbereiter und angenehmer Gastgeber. Ein kleiner Spaziergang über die Wiese und schon ist man am Strand von El Palmar mit vielen Surfschulen, einigen Cafes, kleinen Tapas-Bars, spanischen und italienischen Restaurants, einem Supermarkt und einer Apotheke ... alles bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen und alles was man braucht. Wir kommen wieder!

Opor zoragarriak

Leku bikaina. Lagunek esanda, espero genuen toki polita baina han topatu genuen apartekoa izan zen: etxe zoragarria, Juan Antonioren harrera ezin hobea, lasitasun onena lortzeko lekua, animalia maitagarriak... beno zer esan. Nire alabek eskatu didate hara bueltatzeko ahalik eta azkarren. Ingurua zer esanik ez ,hondartza onak, giro ona...baina gehienbat Juan Antonioren espazioa. Hura bai paraisoa!! Mila esker opor zoragarriak pasatzen laguntzeko.
