North Lodge cottage is a late 19th century gate house, belonging to the Guyzance Hall Estate. It has been fully refurbished bringing it up to modern standards, but still retaining its old charm; with a cozy wood burner, there is a spacious living room and a beautiful kitchen leading out on to a south facing court yard, with a large garden surrounding it and it’s own drive.The cottage is situated at the east end of the small hamlet of Guyzance, close to Walkworth and beautiful Northumberland coast.

Very comfortable stay

we have stayed on numerous occasions, it is a lovely comfortable property. Well appointed and in a quiet area not far from Able & Warkworth.

Perfect Lodge and Location

Wonderful accommodation and a perfect spot to use as a launchpad to explore the region and coastline. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive during the booking process and the property was wonderfully maintained and clean throughout. Thanks for a wonderful stay and I have no doubt we will look to be returning in the not too distant future.

No Wifi

Whilst we thought the cottage was in a. delightful setting, we stayed for 3 weeks without any wifi. The TV is set up for Sky , so without a sky card you are restricted to just 4 channels - not ideal when you have poor phone signal & no wifi
