Our stay over the 4th of July weekend was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Kim was a very gracious and welcoming hostess, and her VRBO was spotless, decorated in a beautiful horse theme, and easy to “be at home.” Kim’s brunch was DELICIOUS ICING ON a busy birthday weekend for our Mom, Nana, and Great Nana!

Our family recently stayed at Kim’s property while in town for a funeral, and we couldn’t have been more grateful for her kindness and hospitality during a difficult time. From the moment we checked in, it was clear how much care she puts into welcoming her guests. Kim left fresh flowers and a thoughtful card for my wife, which meant so much to us. She even had water and treats ready for our little dog, who felt right at home.The home itself was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. Kim went above and beyond by providing a delicious breakfast casserole and muffins, which not only tasted wonderful but also lasted us two full days. Those small touches truly made our stay easier and more comforting.We deeply appreciate Kim’s generosity and the peaceful, welcoming space she created. If you are considering a stay here, know that you will be well cared for. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area

The cabin was beautiful and furnished with everything we needed. Kim was a great host and the quiche and blueberry muffins made for a delicious breakfast the morning after our arrival. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

An Absolute Gem - Immaculate, Thoughtful, and Perfectly Located!My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed at Kim's property for a weekend of hiking in Big South Fork. This is hands down the most immaculate and clean rental I've ever experienced; spotless, quiet, and truly turnkey.Located near the north side of the park, the property is absolutely stunning. Kim has put tremendous thought into creating a beautiful, practical outdoor space. The fire pit is perfectly sized for groups or couples, and the hammock positioned nearby was a wonderful touch. We were so focused on hiking that we didn't explore the grounds fully, but wish we'd had another day to do so!Inside, we found everything we could need. The beds provided incredibly comfortable sleep, and the home is so well-equipped we never wanted for anything. Families will love the ping pong table and activities in the garage.But what truly sets this property apart is Kim herself. We connected with her throughout our stay and genuinely feel we've made a friend. Her offer to provide a fresh baked breakfast is a thoughtful, personal touch you simply don't find at most rentals. And, her attention to detail and genuine hospitality make this place truly special. If you're looking for a clean, well maintained rental exceptionally close to BSF, your search is over because you truly won't find a better option. This property is RARE GEM! Highly recommend! Peaceful Thanksgiving Weekend

Had such a wonderful time at this property. Kim was/is awesome and so easy to communicate with. Everything was perfect and we cannot wait to go back. Beautiful and relaxing long weekend!

This is such a beautiful home tucked away into the woods. It was perfect to spend 5 days away from home with our family, kids and mother in law. Super spacious, spotless and clean, and I LOVED being able to order hot, fresh, home cooked meals as if we were in a B&B but have a private home to ourselves. We even saw deer just outside the front and back windows. Plenty of board games, card games and entertainment outside. We hope to go back again! Thank you so much Kim for your attention to every detail!! I highly recommend your home to others.

The perfect place

Our stay at End of the Trail was perfect! The location made it easy to access some really nice trails and Kim gave great suggestions for hikes to do. There was some confusion on the pricing of our stay, but Kim was very accommodating. The property was the perfect size for us and we loved that it had so many activities like ping pong and horse shoes. Kim's food was delicious and it made the stay feel a little more special. Best VRBO experience we have ever had!

End of Trail cabin is picture perfect! My family and I stayed at End of Trail for a week while visiting Tennessee. I couldn't have been happier! The cabin was beautiful and the location was amazing. Hiking expedition

We hiked numerous trails at Big South Fork, Picketts CCC Memorial State park and toured Sergeant Alvin York’s home. The accommodations were great. Plenty of room to relax and cool off from our outdoor adventures. Kim set us up and provided guidance regarding trails and threatening weather updates which we were thankful to have.

I have rented multiple places on VRBO and I have never had a host this amazing. She goes out of the way to make sure you have everything you could need. The property was amazing and spotless! Perfect getaway

My husband and I spent a few days here to celebrate our anniversary. Kim was amazing and really spoiled us! The house is very clean and even better in person than the pictures could show! It had all the amenities you'd have at home. Perfect place to relax after spending the day hiking on the nearby trails. We can't wait to come back! I highly recommend her biscuit and gravy casserole!

Great Getaway

End of Trail was exactly what my family needed - a few days relaxing away from it all! The house was incredibly clean upon arrival. The trails accessible from the house were great, it was so nice to be able to get to hiking trails without packing the toddler and dog into the car first. We enjoyed our one rainy day playing games in the pavilion. Kim was a great host, very easy to reach and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you again, we can't wait to visit again.

Too short a stay

5/5 would recommend. The property is beautiful (especially with the fall colors), super clean, and thoughtfully supplied. Kim was super responsive and helpful. About 40 minutes from Pickett CCC State Park, but felt like tons to explore nearby, too. I was only there one night and by myself, but will definitely be bringing my family back to enjoy it in the future!
