Thank you Anthony! We are so glad you enjoyed the property and all it offers! We appreciate return visitors who love the property as much as we do!
The cabin and barn was very clean. The location was wonderful and the neighborhood was amazingly quite which made for a great relaxing stay. The neighbors were really friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend for anyone that wants a great getaway with or without your equine partner(s). We brought four horses and the barn and turnout pasture was just perfect for our needs.
Beautiful piece of property. Very scenic and peaceful.

Great place to stay when hiking Big South Fork. Close to the main entrance and number of trail heads. Comfortable, parkable garage, clean and well equipped cabin.
This cabin had way more than I expected, it is fully furnished. We brought way too much stuff. Very clean, friendly neighbors, lots of pasture for our horses, and Mr. Timmons was great to work with and quick with responses. Everything was as expected and then some! We will definitely book again in the future.
Wonderful place for a vacation. Hosts are very easy to get hold of should the need arise. Beautiful house. Nice barn and pastures for the horse and easy access to trails. Very friendly neighbors who are fun to visit and ride with.
We loved our weekend here! We brought our horses and rode right out the back of the property, thru Spruce Creek trails, to Big South Fork trails. Cabin was comfortable, clean, and fit our needs. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfy. We’ll be back!

Thank you Katie! So glad you had a good time and that it was a fun time for the kids. We'd love to have you any time, or any friends you recommend!
A perfect place for my horses and visitors alike ! Quiet setting and a wonderful neighborhood. The hosts , Kristin and Mike , were extremely accommodating and very quick to respond to any and all questions I had about my stay. Would give 10 stars if I could.
This was the 3rd time my friends and I stayed here. We come to TN every year to volunteer at Odd Man Inn Animal Refuge. This home is perfect for us. It’s cozy and plenty of room for us. The kitchen is fully stocked with items to cook with. The host is very responsive any time we had a question. The blender wasn’t working & when I let them know, they responded saying they ordered a new one and it was being delivered on Thursday! I would highly recommend staying here! Very clean and so accommodating! Looking forward to staying here next year!
The house was lovely with all the conveniences one could want. We were in the area for hiking and the house was a perfect home base. It was nice to come “home” after a long day out and relax on the large porch with comfy chairs.
We enjoyed watching the horses and dogs of the neighborhood. The atmosphere was very quiet and the stars at night were something to see!
Kristin was very helpful and easy to communicate with both before and during our stay. If we are back in the area again we would love to stay here again.
This cabin backs up to Spruce Creek, with access to the neighborhood horse trails as well as Big South Fork trails. Pasture is lovely, with plenty of space to let your horses stretch out after a long ride. Kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials. Grill works great. 10 minutes from Pickett State Park, for fishing and swimming. Driveway has turn around for horse trailer. Everything was clean and comfortable. Recommend!
We stay in a lot of VRBOs. This is one of our favorites. When you're old and travel with horses, convenience is important. This lovely property and home is so convenient for us and the horses.Horse care is easy. The owners are wonderful. The house is everything we need and enjoy. I can't think of anything I'd change about it...oh wait...March Madness on TV, but that's extremely minor. :)
We were traveling from Michigan to Florida and needed a half way point for the animals. This was perfect for our needs. Circle driveway for easy pull through. The house was VERY clean (better than majority vacation rentals). The stalls had direct pasture access, great dog run, beautiful covered porch, lots of deer. Everything was very well maintained. What’s not to like! We will plan to make this an annual stop :-) Just a little note when coming south southbound on I 75 maps/Waze put you on a very beautiful curvy scenic route but not best for pulling trailers. I know I-40 is still under construction due to the hurricanes and does not anticipate to be fully done until 2028 so not sure if this was why it put us down narrow curvy roads…. Again the property is 5 out of 5.
