This was our 6th visit and we absolute LOVE this cabin. It's clean, big hot tub on deck with great views, pet friendly - which we really love - comfortable and nice layout. Has all the kitchen amenities you need, wonderful wrap around porch, located at end of cul de sac so great privacy, fire pit and fire wood which we used every morning, etc., etc., etc.

The property is beautiful. It's dark at night. You can see all the stars. It's quiet. It's everything you need it to be to relax. We had a wonderful time. This is our second stay and we loved it as much this time as last time.

Relaxation haven

This is a relaxing, quality accommodation convenient to Pickett Park which had horses as neighbors that made it a great place to "get away".

Great Cabin

The cabin is beautiful and the location is perfect. The owners are extremely cordial even when I messed up regarding the check out time. If you’re going to the Big South Fork area, I would highly recommend staying there.

Excellent location - great home

Very nice home - comforter & well appointed. Very fast WiFi (which is good cause cell service in the area is very sparse). Located convenient to parks, hiking trails & astronomy viewing field. Plan to book again!

Lovely Peaceful Get-a-way

This was the perfect cabin for our short get-a-way. We picked it because it checked all our boxes; close to Big South Fork, dog friendly and hot tub. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the property and well-appointed kitchen. We also loved playing board games on the large wrap-around porch. The host was exceptionally communicative and we appreciate them sharing their wonderful cabin with us.

Our third stay - relaxing as usual!

We've stayed around Big South Fork several times, and we keep coming back to this cabin. It's cozy, the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, and basic spices, and there are plenty of linens and towels. The hot tub jets are powerful - your feet will thank you after all that hiking. It's close to some BSF trails, as well as Pickett State Park, which has a dark sky reserve (we truly love it!).

Very comfotable with everything needed

The owners were very quick with responses. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was conveniently located to Pickett and BSF. I was really impressed and happy about all the local information sent to me by the owner as well as in the cabin. Very helpful!

Vending at a local Truck Show

We didn't get to use the property to its full potential as we were in town for an event and really utilized it for sleep and a shower. But it is a beautiful place and we will definitely stay again if we are back for this event. If you are a horse lover or hiking enthusiast, this is your place!

awesome cabin!

I loved about everything in the cabin, we cooked, Loved the hot tub! It was easy to communicate with the property manager/owner. Cabin was very clean and overall awesome...except, there's a sign on the from door where it say "Arlo is watching thing, you might now see us but we see you" which made a little uncomfortable, the feeling of being watched. If you don' t mind that then the place is GREAT!

Awesome area

We enjoyed two days here and hiked as much as possible during those days. The hot tub was a nice touch to soothe sore muscles. Check in was great, the owner communication on short notice and getting the cabin ready was so helpful. We did not notice that the beds were quite small but that was not an issue as both my spouse and I are under 6ft but a large man would have issues for sure (full/queen). Rustic cabin with all the amenities needed; not luxurious but is comfortable and we will use this property again w/ more notice to the owner for preparation.

Our Fall Get Away

We absolutely love this property and have been coming back for 5 years now. Perfect size, dog friendly, great beds, great TVs, great firepit, great location. Kitchen has more cookware and spices than any other place we have every stayed. Could use a potato peeler and a new set of cookie sheets, but otherwise, supplies are great. Because house sits at the end of a cul de sac, there is a lot of private outdoor area and our dogs just love it. Firewood is stacked high and protected to keep it dry. Owners are responsive and helpful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Perfect horse retreat :)

We loved our stay here! The cabin is clean and well stocked with things that you may have forgotten like spices for your food, cleaning supplies, bug spray, buckets for your horses, and so much more!! My husband and dad fell in love with the water pressure of the shower lol and me and the kids really enjoyed all the nearby horse trails. The community of people that live in the area were also super nice and helpful, I had a “mishap” on one of the horses one day and one of the neighbors scooped me up in her side by side and helped me chase my horse down lol…we had two bear sightings too!! It was just all around a great trip!! We will be back!!

Best getaway ever!

This cabin is a gem in the woods. Perfect ! We brought our horses and rode fabulous trails. The stalls were set right there next to the cabin. Really enjoyed the hot tub after riding. The inside of the cabin is immaculate. So clean, everything you need is provided. It is just lovely. It will be my return spot everytime!!! Great communication on the booking. Thanks for opening your home to this cowgirl ♡♡♡*

Wooded cabin retreat

Really cute and clean cabin in a heavily wooded area was perfect for our trip to Jamestown. Had most everything you could need. Only two small complaints, says in description there is WiFi but no password or mention of it in the literature provided at cabin so we had very little, to no cell svc. Also, said toilet paper provided. There was 1/4 roll and 1/2 roll between 2 bathrooms, with 5 women that didn’t go far so be sure to bring some or plan to get a local Walmart in town. Otherwise it was a wonderful place to stay and would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It’s located in a very wooded, secluded spot several miles outside of Jamestown. The kitchen definitely had anything you need to cook or grill. All toiletries, paper and cleaning supplies were provided. The hot tub was very relaxing. We would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to get out in nature. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Quiet and relaxing

The property is at the end of the road, so there is a lot of privacy. It was quiet and lots of nature around to explore. I would recomend something for motion sickness as the roads are very curvy. All in all, my family enjoyed their stay.

An enchanted 30th birthday weekend!

The cabin was clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. It accommodated myself, my husband, and two other couples easily. It was within short driving distance to beautiful trails, and a ten minute drive to the astronomy field! Highly recommend this property, already daydreaming about staying there again in the future!

Why they chose this property

We absolutely love this cabin and the area. It's so beautiful and serene and the perfect getaway for a couple, family, or group of friends. It's beyond nice to have your horses right there where you can see them, be able to tack up and just ride off directly from the cabin to various trails within the park.
