Recently remodeled desert villa in the desirable Magnesia Falls Cove. (Minimum 28 day rentals only accepted)

Cradled by the San Jacinto Mountains in the south and situated just off the main thoroughfare Hwy 111, the home boasts majestic mountain vistas and easy access to the Valley's best shopping, dining, recreation and entertainment. Less than a mile from The River, a 5-minute drive from El Paseo, Whole Foods, multiple golf courses and hiking trails, a 15-min drive from The Living Desert, Indian Wells Tennis Garden, and 30 mins from the Coachella Festival grounds.

Huge 1/2 acre corner plot features fresh landscaping, a sparking pool and spa, and outdoor lounge and dining areas. The home's light and airy open plan and streamlined design provides guests with a sociable and serene space, fitting for families and couples alike.

The large gourmet kitchen, complete with a farmhouse sink, features a double oven, wine refrigerator and brand new stainless steel appliances. Flanked by a breakfast nook with a 48" flat screen overlooking the backyard and a separate dining area with seating for 8, the kitchen is the center point of the home and ideal for guests that love to cook and entertain.

Three well-appointed bedrooms contain new comfy beds, sleek furnishings and flat screen TVs. The south-facing master bedroom yields beautiful mountain views and private access to pool area and outdoor deck, perfect for morning coffee or a yoga flow. Master en-suite includes a relaxing dual-head walk-in shower.

This space is intended for use by respectful, clean, mature people and not to be used as a party space. Since we are in a family neighborhood, noise levels must maintain a respectful level and lowered after 10pm.

Perfect getaway

Beautiful and a relaxing home in a quite neighborhood. The house was very clean and fully equipped. The property owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the pool/jacuzzi. Cannot wait to come back again and stay in this property. Thank You.

Perfect sized oasis

What a wonderful stay! We came as an alternative to our usual Las Vegas trip. We really felt like we should not take our 9mo there. We searched and found this wonderful gem. Multiple bedrooms, great kitchen and a pool that could accommodate way more than our 4 adults and 1 infant. Or host provided great communication from day 1 and made certain that everything was set up to accommodate us. Location is convenient to nearly everything! When we return to Palm Springs we will be checking the availability of this property first.

Lovely oasis in the desert!

From the moment we opened the door, we knew we chose the right home for us to enjoy our time with family. From the well appointed kitchen to the beautifully decorated bedrooms, the home could not have been more perfect. Walking out to the gorgeous well manicured backyard with plenty of seating, dining area and yard space, we loved it all. The view of the mountains was spectacular and the pool just added to that full vacation experience we were craving. Would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for the perfect 3 bedroom getaway. Dan, the host, could not have been more accommodating .😀

Perfect Getaway

This house was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. For a stay in the Palm Springs area, it could not be better situated for shopping, hiking, sightseeing, groceries etc. The highlight is the outdoor patio, pool and hot tub. The owner was a pleasure to work with. Overall, excellent.

Perfect weekend getaway

The house met the needs of our two families perfectly. Dan was a very responsive hosts and was kind to provide all additional furniture (cribs for our babies) and equipment to make our stay more comfortable. The house is little older but nicely renovated and the lay-out worked really well. The quiet and private backyard is beautiful. Location was great too, easy to get to shops and restaurants. I would definitely come back again.

perfect setting

We came in October with our two elementary aged kids and had a fantastic stay. We swam in the pool every morning, took care of school in the heat of the day, and swam again every late afternoon. The position of the pool/house is great. There's always good shade somewhere, except the very middle of the day. We ate almost every meal outside as the set up was so comfortable. There's so many doors to the back yard that it makes it very convenient. The kitchen is well stocked and very spacious. The beds were very comfortable and clean. The whole house was very clean, even under the beds, where I usually try not to look :) The neighborhood was very quiet when we were there. The school is across the street, but it wasn't in session when we were there. Walking trails close by too. The backyard had a lot of privacy. We'll definitely choose this house again.

This is a fantastic property, and the description and pictures are very accurate. We would have strongly preferred a noon checkout (vs 10 am) and the beds were very firm. Otherwise, we were very happy with our experience.

Relaxing mini-vacation in Rancho Mirage

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 48th wedding anniversary in Rancho Mirage. Dan was very quick responding to questions and providing necessary info prior to our arrival. He is a great owner/host to work with! We found the home most comfortable and as advertised. Since we did most of our eating in, the well-equipped kitchen and pantry provided everything we needed. We were just a couple but the home is plenty large for a family too. Down-side? We didn't see as many Perseid meteors as we had hoped, but I guess we can't blame Dan for this:) Bill and Janet W.

Perfect Holiday Escape

My family and I got to stay at this beautiful property over Independence Day weekend during the pandemic. Not only was the place spotless, but they also provided hand sanitizer and gloves. Nice touch! The layout of the house was perfect for my family. All one story so I knew my 2 year old daughter would be safe. The owners Dan and Angele provided a crib with sheets, blackout shades, a highchair and also an infant/toddler pool float for my daughter. Talk about convenience! And the pool was a perfect escape on the hot holiday weekend. Overall, the BEST Vrbo we have ever stayed at hands down!

Christmas Week in Rancho Mirage

Great kitchen, pool, spa and outdoor area. Fireplace was awesome as the temps were a bit cool. Great location, with easy access to groceries, shops and tennis courts. Super quiet neighborhood. A few things to improve -- garage door opener did not work; provide instructions for how to lock front door from the outside; picture in kitchen nook fell off wall when no one was in the nook -- suggest a more secure hanging mechanism. In summary, we had an awesome stay and enjoyed the key features of the house and its location. Dan was extremely quick to respond to all communications. Thank you!

Our group of three ladies so enjoyed our weekend at Magnesia Falls Cove. The house is newly renovated with a giant kitchen and very chic decor. The pool was warm and large and lovely and it was wonderful to sit in the sun with a view of the pool and mountains. The house had everything we needed, and was close to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Target, and Sephora for everything we forgot to bring. Super-easy check-in and check-out, totally hassle-free. We definitely hope to stay here again.

If you are looking for a beautiful and relaxing experience this is it! The backyard is stunning, the view is amazing and just being there soothes the soul. The owners have taken great care in providing everything you would need at a home away from home. The layout flows and the kitchen is totally equipped. This is my first time writing a review, but felt compelled to because my family (wife and two boys, 6 and 8) just returned from a truly wonderful vacation. The house has been newly (and very nicely) remodeled and enjoys a perfect indoor/outdoor layout. The property is on a large lot, with space on the grass for playing catch or kicking a soccer ball around with the boys. It has multiple great outdoor seating areas, and the pool and spa were perfect. I couldn't get my kids to take a break from playing pool volleyball! The indoors is just as nice, and most importantly, the beds were all very comfortable. It's also a perfect location in the desert, close to the Living Desert and Children's Museum (for the kids) and El Paseo (for the adults). We are already making plans for a return trip this year. Dan, the owner, and Natellie, the manager, were both incredible. Thanks guys!

Had lots of fun in the pool, shallow but great for small kids. Larger back yard felt very open and welcoming. plenty of outdoor seating and relaxation area. Large kitchen is great for cooking with family. The house is clean overall, thanks again for allowing us to stay!!!

Absolutely perfect in every way. This home is truly a gem and we will be back soon!!!

We are so happy we were able to find this beautiful home to stay in over the holiday weekend. It was extremely clean (not a speck of dust anywhere!) and everything was brand new. We were able to park our car in the garage, which is nice when it is 100 degrees outside! The kitchen had plenty of pots/pans/dishes/cups/flatware - everything you could possibly need (and much more!). It was perfect! There is a towel closet full of extra towels for the pool and extra blankets/sheets. They even had plenty of detergent for washing laundry/towels. The backyard was amazing (and very private)! The pool was 84 degrees (without being heated)! There are many places to sit/entertain in the large backyard and all of the patio furniture is brand new. The mountains in the background were so beautiful to gaze at and it was so peaceful. The home is located walking distance to a few restaurants, but far away enough away so you do not even hear a car on the road. The neighborhood is very cute and quiet. There are many shopping areas nearby too (The River, El Paseo, and others). Check-in and check-out process was a breeze. The owner and property manager were very quick to respond to my questions. My boys had such a wonderful time! They both said the "love the house so much!" and want one just like it! My husband and I completely agree! This home is truly a gem and we will be back soon!!!

Hi there! We are Dan and Angele. We purchased our home in 2016 after visiting the Coachella Valley just once (in the summer time no less!) and totally falling in love with the desert. We live in the Bay Area but retreat to our oasis as often as possible.

Why they chose this property

Although the home needed quite a bit of TLC when it was purchased, we saw so much potential! The location can't be beat - the Magnesia Falls Cove provides privacy and serenity unmatched by other master plan country club-style communities in the area, not to mention a really cool and hip vibe thanks to all of the interesting architecture and design in the neighborhood. It is also so close to everything you might need or want during your visit. And of course, we loved the backyard's mountain vistas and immediately envisioned ourselves relaxing by the pool and soaking up the scenery.

What makes this property unique

The benefit of doing a complete remodel is we were able to redesign the home just the way we wanted it. We took down a wall between the kitchen and the living room because we wanted the shared space to really be welcoming and inclusive. We also added a bunch of bells and whistles to the kitchen like the farmhouse sink, the double oven, and the wine fridge because we love to cook, eat and entertain, and spend a good bit of our time in that space doing so (hence the TV).

We also wanted to make our master bedroom into a relaxing and restorative space for couples. The addition of the dual-head shower and the outdoor deck make for a perfect little romantic getaway, even if there are children or guests in bedrooms 2 and 3.

And lastly, another special characteristic about our home is the landscaping in the backyard. We spent time designing that space in order to create a clean and uncomplicated environment. We wanted to keep the majesty of the mountains as the focal point and complimented with some simple desert flora and fauna. We feel the backyard is such a perfectly serene space especially in the mornings and evenings when the sky turns a beautiful shade of pink behind the mountains.
