The Forum des Halles is Paris's biggest and least pleasant shopping mall, although a facelift currently underway should improve matters. Extending three levels underground, it incorporates subway stations, multiplex, gym, swimming pool and numerous restaurants, and is truly labyrinthine.
The Louvre Museum or the Seine River are accessible by a 10-15min walk.

The apartment is at the 4th floor of a very well maintained building freshly renovated with a red carpeted stair. It is secured with Digicode.

This 65 square meter unit offers a cozy interior with a wooden floor and exposed beams. Completely furnished and recently refurbished, it can accommodate up to 5 people. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed with attached shower room and toilette and the living room offers a convertible sofa bed for 2 persons. For a fifth single sponge bed can be added upon request to accommodate 5 people if necessary. There is also a second toilette at the entrance for people sharing the living room.

The Kitchen is very well equipped with quality kitchenware and appliances and the large dining table can accommodate up to 8 people at ease for you to play the best host away from home.

Stay connected with the world through the private high speed internet connection through cable and Wi-Fi and cable TV through a large Flat screen 3D Smart TV.

The closest subway station Châtelet, in Paris center, allows you to reach any parts of the city.

Super welcoming and helpful! Our hosts made sure we were settled in the apartment and answered all of our questions. This apartment was located in the most perfect neighborhood- easily accessible by many metro lines, walking distance from tons of restaurants and shops, so clean and spacious! We will be back!!

We loved our stay at Chateau les Halles! The stairs were no problem at all and kept us fit during the stay. Perfect location and really appreciated the washing machine to keep the kids clothes clean. We will definitely be back to stay again- thankyou!!!!

Great location to explore Paris

Our family of four had a great time exploring Paris from this apartment. Some amazing food right outside the door, very quiet even while in the middle of the city. Was a great stay.

A perfect location for us. We especially enjoyed our day on a self-guided tour of the Marais. The apartment was very comfortable...and quiet. We got used to the 100 steps. Indeed, they might have helped us, because we left Paris to walk the Robert Louis Stevenson Trail!

Great central location and views!

Good sized space with everything you need. Several terraces right outside, this place is on the top floor of a beautiful old building. Easy access to everything. The 101 steps are something to be aware of, but offer lovely views and you can fall asleep at night to the pleasant buzz from the terraces far below

Very convenient location right near Les Halles

We had a comfortable stay at Chatelet les Halles. Check-in was with a French-speaker using a translation app which worked fine. As per the listing there's no lift access so be prepared for the stairs - that was fine for our family. We liked the convenience of the area for getting around Paris and for easy access to shops etc. Beds were comfortable with 2 of us sleeping on one double bed in the bedroom and the other two on the sofa bed in the living room. We liked the views over the rooftops.

Great stay

It was a wonderful stay. Great location with tons of restaurants, close to metro and walkable to many attractions. Hosts were accommodating and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Paris.

We are a 60 semiretired couple. The apartment was perfect for us. The location cannot be better. We mostly walked everywhere (20k steps daily) but used public transportation when needed. The last 100 steps were the hardest: up to the apartment. Be prepared. But if you are in shape, it should not stop you. The accomodations are a rear find. All other apartments that were available were much smaller. Full kitchen. Two bathrooms. Cannot be better. We enjoyed a very vibrant neighborhood with great options to eat and entertainment. Walk to the river and you can see all the major attractions from the bridges. We will be back!

Perfect location, great apartment

Highly recommend this vrbo! The location was perfect, bars and restaurants and shops surrounding us, close to many metro stations made travel super easy. Keep in mind, it is 100 steps up to the apartment, but you get used to it! Great place and host was very helpful.

The department was spacious and as advertised. It is in a great location next to Metro, RER. The only thing to mentioning is that there are about 100 steps to climb to get up to the apartment. Many sites within walking distance.

Perfect stay in Paris

This Vrbo was spacious, well supplied with cooking gear, and an incredible location! The location was very central, and right next to the metro. The lighting was good and high ceilings made the place feel open. It was the perfect place for my friends and I on our visit to Paris😁

Very charming apartment

I've stayed in the apartment about a month, and it has been a huge pleasant experience. The flat is comfortable and near to Centre Pompidou and other top sites of Paris.

Location was excellent. I knew there were lots of stairs and it was only a challenge getting my luggage up them when we arrived. We were so close to everything. We walked everywhere. Property team was responsive when we needed a few things. Would go back there again!

This property was wonderful for our family of four. We didn't mind the 100 stairs. The foldout bed was comfortable for our two children. The kitchen was equipped with an appropriate number of bowls and dishes, and there was a whole box of espresso containers that fit the espresso machine, which helped me wake up in the mornings from our jetlag.Warning to those arriving by taxi: this place is in a pedestrian zone so don't write the exact address. Instead write the St. Etienne metro station, which is one minute walk away. We made this mistake, so our taxi driver's mapping system was completely confused and we drove around for an extra 20 minutes until I just forced him to stop so that we could walk.Minor complaint: the check-in process was inefficient. The well-intentioned lady had lots of keys, forms, and advisory messages, searching for the internet box... she was very helpful but we had to wait 30 minutes, and then the check-in process took 20 minutes. All of this could be eliminated with key-lock access and an information packet on the table. Overall, 5 stars from us! Lovely place to stay.

Tidy, well equipped apartment in great location

Great place in a perfect location

This place was excellent. The location literally could not be better and it was clean and so comfortable. I enjoyed the truly Parisienne experience of staying in a 1st arrondissiment flat - it is on the top floor so others may not be thrilled with the stairs, but it posed no chdd add llrmgw for us. Great host, very responsive.

Central apartment

Great location for bars, restaurants and shopping centre with metro. Multiple flights of steep stairs, which is ok for adults but not for anyone with mobility issues. Note the air conditioner is a portable unit requiring window to be left open during operation. Overall okay apartment in fantastic location.
