About this property

Cosy Cottage Surrounded by beautiful Countryside

Auchingoul Cottage was originally an old farm workers’ home, but was converted in 2002 to a spacious and luxury holiday cottage which sleeps four people. Downstairs is an open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area, with comfortable sofas, TV and DVD player and a log burner to ensure the evenings are warm and cosy. A selection of DVDs and books are available. Logs for the wood burner are provided free of charge. Wifi is also available free of charge and Unlimited. The twin bedroom and bathroom with shower are also downstairs.
Upstairs is a mezzanine balcony where you can sit and relax with a book, and a spacious double bedroom which overlooks your private courtyard with table, chairs and barbecue.
Auchingoul Cottage is a cosy base from which to explore the local area. You can walk through our private woodland to the beautiful River Deveron, , visit the horse riding centre which is just a few hundred yards away, or venture further afield to take in whisky distilleries, numerous fascinating castles, or the beautiful coastline. There is so much to see and do in this beautiful part of Scotland that we are sure you will never be bored! We welcome well-behaved pets. and have ample room for them to explore as well as three large gated fields in case they like to wander !
In total we have 150 acres between our Marnoch and Deveron Valley Cottages estate which you are welcome to roam. If you like a spot of fishing the river Deveron is a 2 minute walk away and youcan book permits with us when you arrive.

Natur, Ruhe und extrem Hundefreundlich!!!!

Es war einfach nur Traumhaft!!!! Die Vermieter absolut hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wer weg vom Stress will und eine erstklassige saubere Unterkunft sucht, ist hier genau richtig!!! Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen:) P.S.: da es bei unserer gebuchten Cottage Probleme mit dem Wasser gab, haben wir einfach eine größere ohne Aufpreis bekommen ☺️

We took over the cottages in June 2019, a big difference to life in South Wales working in a Call Centre and as a Tattooist ! We are on a big learning curve :) but
it was about time had a change.
So we came to Aberdeenshire with the dogs ( Reggie and Badger ) and it’s the best thing we ever did! We look forward to welcoming you to our home.

Why they chose this property

Its an ideal family cottage, with private courtyard plenty of room for BBQ's and outdoor recreation. we have 11 acres and all accessible for you to explore, we have woodland walks down to the river, where if you are lucky you can see otters badgers deer and birds of prey.
Its such a beautiful part of the country we fell in love with it its so peaceful and near to the mountains and the sea..

What makes this property unique

If you would like to do a holiday shop before you arrive Asda and Tesco deliver. We can make sure your goodies are in your cottage before you arrive. We live onsite so are available to greet you if you have a late check in. And we will have the log fire lit and the cottage all cosy if the famous Scottish weather is not so good!
