The charming village of Hellifield rests on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, close to the village of Gargrave and the market towns of Settle and Skipton. This spacious property is situated alongside the main residence and within a courtyard and two neighbouring barn conversions. With its own beautiful private lawned gardens and luxurious hot tub, it makes the perfect holiday escape for a family or small group.

This accommodation offers home from home comfort and has all the necessities you will need for a week-long break. It has a farmhouse style kitchen and large table, a great gathering place at mealtimes. The spacious living room has fireplace, a Smart TV and comfortable sofas, and is a perfect place to relax with the family after a day exploring. Upstairs are three bedrooms, spacious and well furnished, which have been designed to offer flexible sleeping arrangements to suit the needs of any group. The master double bedroom can accommodate an extra bed, and there is a further double room and a single room, as well as a family bathroom with a large shower. From the kitchen/dining room, French doors take you out into the beautiful garden with patio area - ideal for a morning coffee or an al fresco brunch. There is a large external utility room with appliances, a coat and boot area and a Belfast sink. Provision for cycle storage and also a shower room and additional toilet perfectly situated for hot tub users.

There is plenty to explore in the area, including historical landmarks, excellent walking and some of the finest limestone scenery in the country. Whilst visiting the village, be sure to spend some time at the Hellifield Flashes, which are natural ponds offering opportunities to catch glimpses of migratory birds. The village has its own railway station, retaining most of its Victorian features and is Grade II listed. There is a café on the platform with plenty of railway memorabilia displayed on the walls, as well as friendly service. Steam-hauled excursions often stop at Hellifield to take on water and there are plenty of photo opportunities.

For those feeling active, the beautiful Yorkshire Dales are nearby where you can explore miles of wonderful walks amid flower-rich hay meadows, ancient woodland and discover breathtaking waterfalls, including Gordale Scar and Janet’s Foss. A popular location also for those taking part in the famous Three Peaks challenge. Alternatively, a short drive will bring you to the bustling market towns of Settle and Skipton, where you will find further amenities and attractions.

Within the village there is a real ale pub serving food and local café serving breakfast and lunch. There is a small selection of shops and a renowned butcher nearby. Shop, pub and restaurant 450 yards.
