About this property

Dale Side Skipton

A traditional Yorkshire house built around 1900.
The property has undergone extensive refurbishment recently and has been finished and furnished to a high standard

The property boasts a large open plan lounge / kitchen / dining room with a traditional gas stove fitted under an light oak mantle piece. The room also boasts a ceiling fan for those warmer days and is furnished with light oak furniture and floor. The modern kitchen is finished in midnight blue with Oak planked effect worktops and is completed to a high standard.

There is a downstairs utility room with attached cloakroom complete with walk in shower and hand basin which also opens out onto a sunny courtyard garden equipped with chairs and table

Upstairs there are two bedrooms both furnished in light oak and again fitted with ceiling fans for those warmer evenings.

The bathroom has a beautiful freestanding bath so you can enjoy a nice relaxing soak with a glass of wine and a book after a hard days exploration of Skipton or the picturesque Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The property incorporates Hive heating, smart mood lighting in the lounge, Smart burglar alarm / door lock system, fully integrated fire and CO alarm system, Fire doors on both bedrooms and the kitchen and emergency lighting at the top and bottom of the stairs.

The property is easy to find and is approximately 7 minutes walk from Skipton Town centre and the Leeds & Liverpool Canal access points.

The entire house will be available to you

I live and work in Skipton so will be available should you have any problems during your stay.

Skipton is an historic Market Town and is known as the "Gateway to the Dales".

The town boasts a range of traditional shops, restaurants and bars and the Leeds to Liverpool canal with its lovely towpath, wharf and the famous Skipton Castle.

Skipton is an ideal location to base yourself to explore the Dales with most attractions being 30 to 45 minutes drive from Skipton.

The bus station is located approx. 7 minutes walk from the property and has links to Leeds, Harrogate and Manchester and the surrounding villages. The mainline train station is also approximately 15 minutes walk away with connections to Leeds (London), Settle, and Lancaster.

Great short break
We enjoyed our recent short break to Skipton. Property was as described, lovely and clean on arrival with easy on street parking outside the property. Great location with a short walk into the centre. Communication and check in details as provided by Nick were excellent. The property was well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again on future visits to the area. Many thanks.
