lDundurn Mill Cottage is completely secluded, surrounded by stunning scenery, blissfully peaceful and to add to all that relaxation your own beautiful flowing river, perfect for fishing or simply dipping your toes into. The beauty of Dundurn Mill Cottage is that it has enough magic to share with everyone! The cottage looks out towards the Pictish hill fort of Dundurn, one of the most important hill forts in Scotland. Guests love the quirkiness of the property along with the originality that oozes out through the beautifully loved features! There is a stunning sunroom adjacent to the main lounge/dining area. Perfect place to relax and soak up the breathtaking views soaked in Scottish history. Dundurn Cottage boasts a fully modernised kitchen and bathroom apart from that the cottage is all about immersing in the beauty of a slower paced life. Roaring wood burning stove, plentiful board games and books for all generations, taking time to enjoy just sitting out enjoying the extensive grounds, watching red squirrels and a wide variety of bird life including eagles and Ospreys as they soar over Dundurn Hill. You also might be lucky enough to be mesmerised by deer grazing in the lower fields at dawn and dusk. All of this complimented by your own private river that flows through the land of Dundurn. Imagine casting a line here and catching your own dinner or for children just enjoying skimming stones whilst the hot chocolate is being made and the fire is being stoked, awaiting their return. There is also a private jetty that can be accessed for guests wishing to bring their own boat where they can indulge in the delights of Loch Earn’s water sports or salmon or trout fishing. Super Dog Friendly too!!
