THE VILLA OF THE RED MARBLE VILLAGE

PLEASE NOTES:
- A person will always have to check in and check out during the period of stay.
- The car can be parked in the public parking lot of the town (uphill road 100m away from the house); it is possible to arrive at the house for loading and unloading.
- The Villa, for position and structure of the house on several floors, is advisable for people who have no problem walking.
- At the check in we ask you to leave a deposit of 300 euros and pay the tourist tax of stay (1 euro / person / night, up to a maximum of 5 euros, except for children under 14).
-The cost of gas consumption (for heating, hot water and kitchen) is included in the price only in July and August. In the other months it is an extra cost and is calculated based on consumption (1mc = 4 euros).
- !!!!! Typical dinner delivered expressly at home !!!!

VILLA RUBRA
Villa Rubra is a charming holydays-house for 13 people with private swimming pool.
Rubra is located in Sassorosso, perhaps the most picturesque village of Garfagnana. at 1000m above sea level and famous for the red marble of its historical building.
From the terrace and the garden of Villa Rubra you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Apuan mountains.
Staying in Sassorosso you can visit the natural park of Orecchiella and enjoy relaxing holiday discovering the beauties of Garfagnana.
Only 1 hour from Lucca the beauty of nature and the Tuscan mountains.

INTERIOR
The house is accessed via a large panoramic terrace: from here you enter through the main door into the entrance hall of the villa.
Villa Rubra is on 3 levels-
At the level 1 we have the red marble terrace, the entrance hall of the villa, a living room with sofa and armchair, and a suit with a double bed.
Level 2 is accessed both from the living room and from the entrance room.
From the living room to a double room, to a bathroom with a spacious shower. From here you can also access the garden, and the pool area.
You can also access to the large living-dining room. There is a large sofa in the dining room. From the large room you can go to the garden and the pool area through a large arched glass door.
From the dining-room leads to level 3 via a stone staircase. On the last floor we have a bathroom with shower,
a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. The room is in the garden area, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Apuan Alps.

OUTSIDE
Outside areas of Villa Rubra include the terrace and the garden.
The large marble terrace is equipped with a sun umbrella and deck chairs, and an outdoor living room with a beautiful view of the valley.
The Garden is composed of two levels.
On the first level there are the outdoor dining areas, with a large table, umbrella and a living area. At this level there is also the swimming pool (10x4 m, 1.40 m deep).
Through external red marble stairs you reach the upper level of the garden entirely dedicated to the solarium and equipped with deckchairs and umbrellas: this is the most panoramic area that enjoys the enchanting view of the Apuan Alps.

Sassorosso village is a beautiful small medieval mountain village, very peaceful and lovely. Not far from the villa (1 Km) there is a food bar-restaurant-pizzeria.
Garfagnana area is characterized by beautiful landscapes, good natures, places of historical interest, good Italian cuisine with typical local products.
