Water was an issue need to get city water. Washer & Dryer in a shed had to go outside to use. Beds comfortable, and kitchen had very nice dishes,& pots & pans. Nice to have extra refrigerator in the shed also. Enjoyed our stay except for the water.

So sorry for the inconvenience! In Florida we have all kinds of little critters (ants, lizards, etc.)that can make a pressure switch flip… unfortunately they picked your time with us to be a pest. City water hookup is very expensive and out of my budget unfortunately. We sincerely do apologize! Since this is a small cottage there unfortunately is no room in the house for washer and dryer. At least we did provide one for your convenience. I would say much more convenient that hauling clothes to the laundromat for sure. Thank you for the review!

Beautiful location but house needs some TLC
We stayed at this property for 3 months. Neighborhood was great. House has good potential but be aware of the following issues.. Sulfur water that has terrible smell and taste. Water cooler not working. Had to purchase water our entire stay. Was asked by host to reset the water pump outside when needed. This happened 8 times throughout our stay, day and night. Host seemed to think that was acceptable as well. Smoke detector not working and we had to remove it. Again, host was aware and not concerned. The dryer not working upon arrival. It took 9 days to be repaired. We had to go to the laundromat 3 times. As stated, the lake is beautiful but was disappointed with the negative issues with the house.
Awesome views of Sunrise and Sunset off the dock. House was very comfortable and had everything needed to enjoy a couple days. Owner responded promptly with anything needed and the place was exactly as listed. Would definitely stay here again
Comfortable cottage on water with fantastic lake view! Also private fishing dock.

Fell in love
My wife and I stayed here for the month of November 2017 and fell in love with the place. The cottage is very clean and nicely decorated/furnished. It was our first Florida vacation that we spent inland as opposed to the beaches. We towed our boat all the way down from Ontario and it was worth it as we were able to explore and fish on quite a few lakes in the area including Istokpoga, Okeechobee, Arbuckle Creek and of course the beautiful Lake June in Summer! The back porch faces west and the sunsets every evening were amazing. Hope to return someday soon as there are so many more lakes that we would like to explore!

Perfect vacation spot
Arrived in December 2016 for a three and a half month stay. Much to my delight the cottage was spotless and the cleanest I have ever encountered in my many Winters in Florida. Beautiful welcome bottle of wine and card also greeted me. The cottage was extremely comfortable and roomy. I entertained a fair amount on the front patio and it was never crowded. My focus was on fishing and I spent much of every day on the end of the dock fishing. Even on the hottest of days, the dock was very comfortable with a covered section to protect you from the sun. Fishing was good to fair, depending on the month but many large bass were landed in the 4lb to 6.5lb. I was so unwilling to leave that I extended my stay for a few but still found it difficult to leave. Brittany and Jeremy were very gracious hosts and attended quickly to any needs or wants. Needless to say, I am returning next Winter for an even longer stay. Strongly recommend.
