Best location in Village of Leland! We are located across Union Street from the Leland Country Club. We're also just steps from tennis courts, soccer fields and more at Hancock Park. Its a short .5 mile walk to Nedows Bay public beach and boat ramp on Lake Leelanau, and .6 miles from historic Fishtown, fabulous Van's Beach on Lake Michigan and the grocery store, library, gourmet restaurants, shops, etc. The location allows you to walk and bike everywhere! Park your car and enjoy a real vacation in Leland! We have two bikes you can use to get around town and also 2 kayaks for use on Lake Leelanau.

Our home is 3,400 sq ft with a comfortable open floor plan and 9 ft ceilings throughout. The main level has 2 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen bed) and 2 full baths. The walk-out lower level has a spacious living room with a big screen TV, 3 large bedrooms (1 king and 2 queen size beds) and a full bath.

The home has a large private south facing deck with outdoor furniture, a Weber charcoal grill, an outdoor fire pit, a west side covered porch, a hot tub off the master bedroom, a steam shower in the master bath, an attached heated 2 car garage, a gas fireplace, washer/dryer, 4 flat screen televisions, high speed internet and WiFi, hardwood floors, tiled bathrooms, huge kitchen with 6 burner Viking Stove, and a high end stereo system with built-in speakers throughout the house and on the decks.

The nearby Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore was recently voted the "most beautiful place in America". The surrounding area offers hiking, bird watching and remote pristine beaches at the Leelanau State Park, farmers markets, wineries, many farm to table restaurants, the Interlochen Center for the Arts, the Traverse City Film Festival and the National Cherry Festival.

We live in Leland year round and work in Traverse City. We are always ready to help but will not be intrusive. We love to cook and will be eager to share our knowledge regarding locally sourced fresh produce, fish, and much more.

We love animals but this is a pet-free home.

This is not a party home! We don't allow overnight guests, only the individuals listed on the rental contract may stay overnight in our home!

Great home for a group of ten. All the amenities you need. Clean and comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out. Owner was more than helpful and friendly with all the info you need about the area. This house is amazing! It was very comfortable for our large group, super clean and the owners have thought of everything -- from bikes and kayaks to lots of towels and a true cook's kitchen. The location is perfect: walking distance to town and the beach but still very private. The owners, Jim and Leslie, were responsive and helpful. Leland is lovely - perfectly situated to explore all of the treasures of Northern Michigan! I would recommend this house without reservations to anyone - we are all hoping to return next year!

Wonderfuil house for a family get together in Leland.

This is a lovely house, with large, well-appointed rooms and a spacious cook's kitchen, perfect for a large family gathering. The 2 of us stayed with our 4 adult children, 2 grandchildren. Being on 2 floors allowed us peace and quiet at 6 am when the grandkids began their day. We were in Leland for a big family reunion with other family members at different locations, so we didn't have a chance to take advantage of all of the amenities the house had to offer, such as the 3 bikes, and the 2 kayaks at Nedows Bay beach, but having plenty of beach chairs and beach towels came in handy. We hope to stay again.

Really enjoyed this home. Lots of room for the family to spread out and has (as others have stated) the perfect location with walking access to town, lake (both Leland & Lake MI), golf course (private) & park. Nice master, kitchen, living room, basement, deck with jacuzzi. Jim and Leslie also are very hands on & make sure your stay is a great one. This home also provides kayaks and bikes. Will definitely like to rent again next year.

Beautiful Private Home

Our family (2 adults, 3 teens) absolutely loved our week here! The house is lovely and has a great layout for everyone to have their own space. The owners were very kind and they provided many great suggestions for our stay. We had never been to Leland and we enjoyed all that the area had to offer. We rented a boat on Lake Leelanau one day, hiked in Lelanau State Park and the Houdac Dunes, kayaked (the owners provided), and spent beach time at Lake Michigan. The kids enjoyed riding the bikes the owners provided as well. We loved just hanging out on the deck each day and having fires in the fire pit at night. It was a great week to reconnect and get away from all of the craziness of everyday life. We would definitely return.

Gorgeous property! Wonderful location! All the amenities of a 5 Star home!

We had a lovely two weeks at this property. From the style to the decor to the tiny touches, it is 1st class all the way. The house has a gourmet kitchen, cozy family room, hot tub, steam shower and a secluded deck nestled in the beautiful pines. We loved biking into town and walking over to the 4th St. public lake access on Lake Leelanau. Our kids enjoyed the kayaks. We would highly recommend this property to anyone & everyone. The owners, Leslie & Jim Saffell thought of everything to make our time in Leland and in their home fantastic.

We stayed for a week at this home and were very very pleased. It's very clean and comfy and has a big, beautiful kitchen, along with a great deck to have meals on. The house is a short walk from downtown restaurants and beaches. Everything is provided, and Jim and Leslie are super-friendly and helpful.
