Seaside House - family home on the beach

Seaside House is a lovely family house with fabulous sea views and beach access from the garden. Sleeping 9 in five bedrooms and welcoming up to 2 well behaved dogs this is the perfect house for making memories as a family in Cornwall.
Ground floor accommodation comprises a modern kitchen with double ovens, hob, extractor, fridge freezer and dishwasher, an utility room off the kitchen houses a washing machine and tumble drier. The main living space is a large room with comfortable leather sofas, flat screen TV, open fire place and large farmhouse style dining table which comfortably seats 9. The living area extends in to a conservatory with additional soft seating and access out to the extensive deck, garden and down on to the beach. The sea views from the conservatory and outside areas are spectacular taking in Looe Bay from Hannafore and the island right around to the East and all along the coastline to Rame Head. The family bathroom on the ground floor has bath and separate large shower cubicle. Upstairs are the bedrooms, two doubles overlooking the beach, a single again overlooking the beach and two further rooms at the back, one double and one twin room. There is also a separate toilet.
Plaidy beach is dog friendly all year round and is a mixture of sand and shingle. When the tide is out there are numerous rock pools to explore and a large flat sandy area perfect for those who wish to paddle and swim. The walk in to Looe is approximately 20 minutes along the coastal path or at low tide guests can enjoy the walk in along the beach. Alternatively Millendreath is the next cove to the East (a 10 minute walk) where the Black Rock Cafe and Beach Bar are situated. It is also possible to hire paddle boards, kayaks, body boards wet suits etc during the Summer months at Millendreath.
There is parking for one car outside the property and additional spaces available within a one minute walk on request. The property has free Wifi.Please see the facilities tab for further info and accessibility.

Family holiday in Looe

Lovely property, plenty of room for eight of us , would sleep nine plus an infant. Location absolutely fantastic and the views amazing. Just a couple of suggestions, the sofas are a bit tired and uncomfortable and the addition of clothes hooks on the back of the bathroom door would be useful. Looe is a lovely fishing village with lots of lovely shops and restaurants, just takes 15 minutes to walk into via the coastal path or alternatively plenty of parking . We also made use of the Coddy Shak and the Chinese takeaway just minutes up the road , both really delicious. My daughter is an avid paddle boarder and to be able to store her board in the garden and head out to sea was such a bonus, one of our party even invested in a wet suit, so hopefully we will all be returning!

Perfect location

Such a lovely week spent with friends here. The view is spectacular no matter the weather. The house was warm, clean and had everything we needed. An added addition was that it was great not to have to use a car during the four days we spent there (except for the men who went to play golf). Booking process simple and straight forward also. Thanks for a great stay.
