Riverside Cottage sits next to an active canal teeming with birds and gorgeous canal boats. Marvellous small village with easy access to Downham Market and Ely. The new owners Kristina and Tony are fantastic and their property is well maintained and inviting. Horses, swans, ducks, herons, geese and turtles made it a joy to stay here. Thanks for the hospitality
A lovely little property adjoined to the owners, alongside the river. Very well appointed with everything you could need. Beautiful view out of the sitting room patio doors on to the riverbank. Well placed to explore the surrounding countryside and the beach is only 35 minutes away. The owners were extremely accommodating with my 6 month old Vizla puppy and he loved watching the boats go by. The only downside is it is close to the main road but you soon switch off to that when you see the views. Would definitely recommend it, especially if you liked fishing as you can fish from the patio doors and we saw lots of fish surfacing so seems well stocked.
This is a delightful, comfortable, quiet cottage within reach if a number of places worth visiting including Sandringham. The kitchen is small but has a fridge freezer and a dishwasher. There is a cloakroom as well as a bathroom. The king size bed is very comfortable. Mary and Bob looked after us well.
