This two bedroomed, two bathroomed apartment is on the ground floor in the upper level of the popular and peaceful Atalaya Complex close to the Casino in central Puerto del Carmen. This refurbished and spacious apartment sleeps up to 4 people comfortably.

Atalaya is a medium sized complex with a communal pool located very centrally in Puerto del Carmen. A three minute flat walk brings you down to Puerto del Carmen's seafront promenade where there are shops, restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. Playa Grande, Puerto del Carmen's golden expanse of beach is 7 minutes walk.

The apartment is refurbished and has comfortable furnishings.
The open lounge and dining has an L-shaped sofa, flat screen TV, and dining table and four chairs. The TV has UK channels.

The well equipped kitchen has hob, microwave, full oven, large fridge freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, coffee machine,lots of crockery, glasses, pans, cutlery.

There are two bedrooms, each with twin beds, good wardrobe space and ceiling fans.

The apartment has two modern bathrooms - one next to each bedroom - both bathrooms are recently refurbished and each has a walk in shower, toilet and washbasin. Hairdryer, iron and ironing board are provided. There is a safety deposit box free for guests to use.

The apartment has a private terrace which gets sun for much of the day. There is a table with chairs and parasol and two sunloungers. The apartment enjoys a quiet location on the complex with lovely open views over the rooftops towards the sea, and is a great place to relax.

The Atalaya Complex has a communal pool with sunloungers, which is usually quiet and peaceful.

A well stocked supermarket is right next door, and taxis and buses stop just 3 minutes walk away.

Nice apartments and good communications. Very quiet - I would say perfect for older people wanting to relax. Far away from strip so no noise and equally a very short walk away. Supermarket is below the property and extremely handy. An enjoyable stay 👍

Great little apartment, worked well for our family of four. Great location, close to main strip. SPAR below was super handy. Owner was great - communication, instructions etc all spot on - would stay again for sure.

Good stay, nice apartment and good location

Nice place. 3 mins walk from the front which has loads of bars, restaurants etc. Despite that it was very peaceful. Pool area was good and not overcrowded like some can be. Gill very helpful with booking and check in. Would stay there again.

Absolute tops

Absolute fabulous apartment. Myself and husband came to PDC 20 years ago and stayed in various locations. Now we take our girls. The properties we have stayed in prior to now, which we thought were good and value for money, are not a patch on the Atalaya apartments. To have two bedrooms, two shower rooms and aircon- amazing. The apartments are only five minutes from the main strip with no hills to climb so ideally these would be fine for elderly people or possibly less mobile. I cannot thank the property owner enough. The communication between us was spot on. I would have no hesitation in returning next year to these apartments.

The apartment is managed personally by Gill Pegge, assisted by her daughter. Gill worked as a manager in several 4 and 5* hotels in the UK before moving to the beautiful island of Lanzarote in 2012. Being on the island allows Gill to meet and greet guests, make sure they are familiar with the apartment’s facilities, as well as passing on advice and recommendations to enhance their holidays. Being on the island also allows Gill to very quickly sort out any problems which guests may have. Gill has a passion for Lanzarote and has never had a more enjoyable 'job' than making sure that guests have a relaxing and memorable holiday.

Why they chose this property

Lanzarote has year round sunshine and blue skies. Puerto del Carmen has the best choice of restaurants and bars we have ever come across, and the ambiance and variety of the resort’s facilities appeals to guests of all ages.

The Atalaya Complex is secure, quiet and friendly and isn’t used by tour companies, so you don’t have the noise and activity of some of the larger complexes. The apartments on this complex are a good size and are light and airy.

What makes this property unique

The complex is in a fantastically convenient location. Most guests comment on the peacefulness and tranquility of the apartment and are amazed that you can walk to the lively main promenade in just 3 minutes. Also, being only a 10 minute journey from the airport makes transfers very easy. Having a well stocked supermarket next to the complex is also very handy.
