Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the location and the community. The condo we rented was nice; however, it is in need of some updates and maintenance. I believe there is a mold problem upstairs in the closets and bathroom. We didn't use the closets for that reason. The tile floor was cracked and posing as a tripping hazard. The carpets had some stains that seemed fresh, so we were disappointed the cleaners didn't try to spot shampoo those areas. We will return, but would choose an updated condo.

Decent room

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was nice but needs some improvement. The floor in the living room felt like you were going to fall through it. Electrical sockets do not work. None of the tvs have cable tv and some don’t work do to the electrical sockets. There is no screen door for protection and the flys come through the door all night. Finally the dishes had food left on them. We pay a cleaning fee and we cleaned more than they did.

Fall Break beach vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in several condos at Seascape and this one had a few issues and some pluses. Having the beach service and golf discounts and inclusions is a definite plus. The condo itself location is a short walk to the beach. The condo was not that clean in my opinion. The floor had several broken tiles that where missing pieces and the freezer door would only open a small amount as to the door hitting the wall. Could use a few updates, but overall okay for the two of us. We will be back, but may look for another unit next time.

Peaceful getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property and layout were as described. This condo is on the second floor AND has a second floor inside, one bedroom on the first floor, master, and loft bedroom on the second. The loft area room was dark and perfect to put our toddler in his Pack N Play, but the airflow wasn't great, so we bought a small, portable fan while there which worked fine. The washer gave us some trouble, but the front desk allowed us to use the washer in another condo until maintenance was able to come fix it, and we were so grateful for the quick solution and response. The upstairs bathtub stopper that switches it to a shower was a little stuck, but the downstairs water flow was great. We only received one trash bag and one paper towel roll, but I brought some from home. The property was clean, well-cared for, and the view of the lake was really special. The walk to the beach is very quick, and there was a ramp to get down to the sand right by Whale's Tail. We brought a wagon to lug down with us which I recommend! There are restaurants nearby, and we especially enjoyed Moo-Lala's ice cream sundaes. Checkout was a breeze - just clicked a link which was emailed and texted to us. We lost a pet right before our trip was scheduled, and it was the perfect week of peace to relax and enjoy being together. I've already sent a link for the condo to a few colleagues and family, and we'd love to come back and stay again in the future. Thank you!

Great Location But Rundown

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is wonderful but that’s it! We’ve stayed at Seascapes in the past and this is the most rundown unit we have stayed in. There is no way you could cook a meal with what is supplied in the kitchen. The walls are dirty, blinds missing, carpet is stained and tiles in the kitchen/ living area are cracked and crumbling. Also the pictures of the unit need to be updated. The chairs at the kitchen table are now covered with lime green chair covers that are filthy. We couldn’t even set at the table to eat! If you removed the chair covers the vinyl was literally peeling off and there were holes. One of the bar stools is also falling apart too. When we received our checkin email we were given the wrong unit number and passcode. We walked in on a family in their kitchen. Thank goodness they were nice about the whole situation. I called Seascapes and they did get it corrected quickly.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Condo was so filthy, we immediately had to start cleaning before we sat down. It was not remodeled as advertised. It was dusty, smelly and pet hair everywhere. The second night the toilet bowl and kitchen sink stopped up. The upstairs was missing a fire extinguisher. The handle was hanging from the patio door. There was rust on the kitchen appliances. There were spider webs and dirt on the patio screen. My family and I have been staying in condos for four years with good experiences, but this was horrible. It seemed as if that place had not been maintained for a very long time. How someone could charge 780 for people to stay in such conditions is unbelievable. I would like my money refunded as soon as possible.

I asked to be moved to another unit, but Seascape told me there were no other units available. After insisting they clean the carpets, my husband talked me into staying since we had several other friends staying on the same property. I never sat on the couch, nor the dining room chairs because they were so dirty. The dresser drawers were dirty, the closet wire shelf appears as though it’s never been cleaned, the walls were dirty, I pulled dirty dishes out of the cabinets, it was all just filthy. I’ve stayed in other units at Seascape, as my brother-in-law is an owner, but this is the worst unit I’ve ever stayed in. It appears as though the owners that allow a Seascape Mgt to rent their units just don’t care as much as the owners who rent on their own. I’ll never rent from Seascape Management again.

Smelled very clean when we walked in. There were dishes left in the dishwasher. The carpeting was extremely dirty in the small room upstairs and in the master bedroom there was trash under the chair. The cleaning crew needs to slow down more and pay attention and do a more thorough job cleaning. Other than that we enjoyed or stay. We love how close distance of walking to the beach it is.

If we had another option we would have stayed somewhere else.For starters the front door was stripping, dirty and had rust all over it. We thought we had arrived at the wrong unit😳😖. The tiles were cracked and some were broken. The carpet was dirty and inside was musty!!!!It appears as if this unit has been unoccupied or not rented in a long while. The property over all was OK.THIS UNIT IS POORLY MAINTAINED AND SHOULD NOT BE RENTED UNTIL UPGRADED AND THOROUGHLY CLEANED. Shame on Seascape for renting this unit for close to 1K for 3 nights and 4 days!!!!This was ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE!!!!!!😖😳😳

Great location

If you can’t stay on the beach, this is about the next best thing. Plenty of space for our family to relax and unwind after a long day. Getting to the property was a bit confusing. You can not get to the property by using the address you have to go to the specific resort gate for visitors, which was not well designated in any communications. Once you figure that piece out it’s all good.
