The Chalet le Dorf on Notsch in Gailtal Valley in Winter
have about 130 kilometers of ski sloops, some of them even leading into neighboring Italy are waiting to be discovered. The unique microclimate, south of the Alps, guarantees snow coverage throughout the entire season and ensures that most days will be sunny have a crystal clear sky. In addition, the well-developed infrastructure offers sports and entertaining leisure activities away from the pistes.
The Pressegger See near Hermagor - nestling between the snowy peaks of the Carnic and Gailtal Alps - is one of the first lakes in Carinthia to freeze over in winter, making it a popular ice rink for skaters of all ages and abilities.
