If you're looking for a nicely updated, pet friendly vacation rental, look no further! Check out this 2nd floor, 2-bedroom suite located just a block away from the Garden City Pier in Garden City Beach, SC. This 2-bedroom / 1 bathroom apartment is fully furnished with 2 king beds, dressers and closets for storage, dining table and chairs, Smart TVs, free wifi, private bathroom with shower and vanity, full size fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen sink, and more! The space is perfect for multiple couples, friends, or a family getaway! Aside from the beautiful updates, our guests will certainly enjoy the proximity to the beach, Garden City Pier, bars, restaurants, and so much more. As of Winter 2022, this condo features some really nice updates! Recent updates include new LVP flooring, new furniture, new kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, new appliances, new microwave, new kitchen backsplash, custom tiled shower, new bathroom vanity, fresh paint, and more!

Guests will enter the apartment on the second floor; just a few stairs up to the unit. Upon entering, guests will enter into a hallway area where the first bedroom will be found on the left. The first bedroom offers a king bed, night stands, TV, dresser, overhead light and fan, and closet for storage.

The second bedroom is located on the left as well, just beside the first. This bedroom also features a king bed, night stands, dresser, TV, overhead light and fan, closet for storage, and window with natural lighting.

Just across from the bedrooms and centrally located in the apartment, guests will find a newly updated, full-size bathroom. The bathroom has been completely renovated as of Winter 2022 and features a vanity with double sinks, oversized mirror, toilet, custom tiled shower, and more.

Moving through the apartment, the living area is found at the back of the apartment. The living room features a queen sleeper sofa, accent chair, modern decor, dining table and chairs, TV, and access to the full kitchen. The full size kitchen features all new, full size appliances that include a fridge, freezer, microwave, stove, toaster, and kitchen sink. We provide all basic cookware and kitchenware, and everything you need to prepare a snack or small meal will be stocked in the cabinets for you! For guests who prefer to dine out, Garden City has hundreds of incredible dining options within a short drive or Uber. Uber Eats, DoorDash, Postmates, and Grubhub have become very popular and convenient options as well.

Have a fur baby? Yes, they are welcome too! Our guests are able to bring up to 2 pets (dog or cat) with a $100 paid pet fee. To keep this rental maintained as good as possible, we do ask that pets not be allowed on the sofa or living room furniture. In addition, when guests leave, we do ask that the pets be crated until their owners return. This is important not only for the care of the property, but also for vendors, pest control, maintenance, and housekeeping personnel who may need to enter the property. Vendors may not be able to provide necessary services if pets are not crated, and we appreciate your understanding! ​​​​​​​

If you're planning your next vacation, 125 Atlantic Avenue Unit G1 is perfect for those looking to enjoy a nice, clean, spacious, pet-friendly rental. If more space is needed, rent this condo AND others in the same building, possibly even the condo right next door (ask us how)!

Be sure to pack light! All towels, toiletries, bedding, and linens are provided. We also provide starter amenities such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, lotion, and conditioner for each reservation. We also provide 8 towels and 8 washcloths in the bathroom.

Guests will be charged a small cleaning fee, and the departure cleaning fee is in place to compensate the cleaner, the cost of toiletries, and the laundering of the towels, linens, and bedding. We truly want to make your experience with us as affordable as possible! If desired, we can accommodate daily housekeeping or mid staying cleaning requests for a small fee. Just let us know what you need and we'll be happy to work with you!

Guests should be advised that this is a non-smoking rental. Smoking is prohibited in the condo. Should any smoking occur, the full amount of the security deposit will be retained and other charges may be applied. We believe in full transparency, and it's important that we are clear on what guests should expect when booking this property. This rental is located directly above a small local bar. As a result, music can often be heard, and smoke odors may linger into this apartment. This rental may not be a good fit for guests who are sensitive to smoke odors or may be disturbed by music from the bar. Inside the apartment, many updates have been made, and many areas of the rental are truly special. As with all rentals, cosmetic wear and tear is to be expected. Parking is first-come, first-serve, and there are several open spaces around the complex. Parking spaces may or may not be immediately available, and guests may have to park at open spaces around the complex. This is a very tropical and sandy area. We will do our absolute best to make sure the floors are swept and mopped prior to your arrival.

Terrible experience
Off the bat the best I could possibly give this rental is 3 stars because it’s above a bar and very loud all night long. Let me start with the things I liked about the place. Pet friendly, allowed rental for less than a week, close to the beach, tastefully decorated. However from the moment we arrived we were unimpressed. Under the outdoor stairwell to the unit was a discarded loveseat, bed frame and other trash. Inside, the shower curtain was moldy from top to bottom and the door lock was not reinforced with a damaged lock hole. The management company sent someone to replace the shower curtain and address the door lock / frame. To address the lock / frame issue the maintenance person pushed in the door molding which made it slightly more secure but not what would be up to code. We had issues with the tv cable not working on 2 of the TVs. When plugging them in we noticed a loose electric outlet and another outlet without a cover altogether. There was also a hole in the wall where the coax cable entered the unit. We never were able to get the cable addressed. In all fairness it was an issue with Spectrum cable and not the mgmt company, but still another issue. The dryer vent had also not been cleaned in a very long time and was overflowing with lint. We only noticed it after drying our towels for 45 minutes and they were still wet. It’s not like we were seeking out these issues but in the course of normal use they arose. The management company did offer to send over maintenance to address these issues. There were just so many issues that I was on the phone with the mgmt company a lot and even at the unit while things were being addressed. We didn’t need to be there but I was not comfortable with not being there. I’ve rented from HomeAway and other companies in the past and things come up - I understand that - but the number of issues here were too many. If you are looking for a pet friendly place for a few days, I’d recommend a respectable pet friendly hotel instead of this unit.

Property was nice. Location was not good. It was very close to beach which was awesome! But... property was right above a bar. It was very noisy all night long . One night bar was open and people were outside under our window talking until 0530. The people from bar cohorts outside sitting on steps that led to property. Property did not have a microwave. The bathroom was challenging. Huge shower but commode and sink were in very small area no room to get ready so you have to get ready in the living room. It is pet friendly so that was a plus for us. Could not get rest as the bar seemed as if it was open all night. Loved Garden City and the piers had awesome live bands.
