Eidelwiese condo review
The cable tv package was not adequate for me & there was no gym on the premises as advertised. Plus WiFi had lousy bandwidth.
We are sorry that you were disappointed with your stay, Justin. This condo is no longer advertised as have a gym on the premises and we apologize for any confusion. We hope to have the chance to host you in the future.
You can't beat walking across the parking lot to get on the lift! The condo is dated and small but has everything you need to prepare your own meals and the price is awesome!!! You can fit a couple (in bdrm) and 2 more (bunk beds by entrance) no problem.
I like the size of the place. Really good for me
Far better than a hotel if you're staying a few days and get tired of being out on the town every night to eat. Nice kitchen and had moose outside the window.
If you're looking for a place to relax, look elsewhere. In 95 degree heat with no AC, we found our baseboard heater was turned on and not able to turn off. The CO2 monitor began constant beeping at 2am due to low batteries. Several days dogs were allowed to swim in the pool, jumping on and over us frequently. Someone felt the need to put a large pink flamingo blowup toy in the pool and leave it, which took up 2/3 of the pool. There is no sauna as advertised; the sauna room is filled with construction tools, no sauna. The lodge next door is under construction, so there are constant construction noises -- hammering, beeping, etc -- as well as fine sawdust in the air which settled our belongings and the pool. The majority of these issues should have been disclosed to guests before they booked here.
We apologize for the experience our guest had. We were able to quickly address the baseboard heating and CO2 alarm batteries when our guest notified us of the problems. Unfortunately, we have no control over the construction. It is normal for construction to occur all summer long due to the short window it offers to get the outdoor work done. We have reached out to the association regarding the dogs in the pool and the sauna and apologize for the disappointments experienced.
In 95 degree heat and no AC, the baseboard heater did not shut off. The CO2 monitor began beeping starting at 2am due to low batteries. On several occasions, dogs were allowed to swim in the pool and jump across guests. A large pink flamingo float was placed in the pool, taking up 2/3 of the pool. There was no sauna, as promoted. The lodge next door is under construction, with the noise and low air quality that accommodate construction zones. This was certainly not a place to visit for a relaxing vacation.
