Fabulous pool

A really lovely villa with fantastic pool and views. Very quiet apart from occasional noise wafting up the hill from the hotel. Bathroom and kitchen maybe need updating. A car is absolutely essential. We thought we might get away with walking and the bus. The buses are infrequent and unreliable and the hill is very steep. Local eating out options are also limited. A good place though for a chill out holiday.

Nous avons été up-gradé à villa Teresa. Une belle terrasse avec jasmin parfumé et une vue sur le golfe Messinni à couper le souffle. Personnel aimable mai qui parle que le grec. A extérieur la villa est assez coquette mais l’intérieur est vétuste pour dire le mieux. A l'exception du lave linge électroménager est antique, le frigo et le chauffe eau poussent des soupirs étranges, la climatisation grince, la robinetterie est rouillé, il y avait un carreau tombé dans la salle de bains , partout des tuyaux et câbles apparents, on est loin, très loin, du luxe prétendu et le prix n'est pas du tout justifié Les photos de présentation ne sont pas rangés par villa, elles sont prise dans l'ensemble des 9 villas donc impossible de se faire une idée de l’état de chaque villa. A se méfier.

We had an amazing time during our stay

Me and my husband have spent two weeks in late June early July 2013 at villa ERATO of the Kalamaki villas. The accommodation was very comfortable and it is in a beautiful setting. The Villa was fully equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. It had peaceful and quiet surroundings but it was only a few minutes by car to shops and tavernas etc... Villa ERATO was very clean and well maintained and it’s private pool was spotless. The service from the caretaker when we needed it was excellent. The view from the terrace is wonderful extending to a big part of the Messinean gulf with the Taygetos mountains at the far end. A number of tavernas/restaurants in Chrani offer great local food, which we were more than happy to try throughout all of our holiday. The local supermarket on the main road in Chrani provided everything we needed for our stay, including a great BBQ on the last night. Vila ERATO was a good base for touring around the local area or just staying put and relaxing.
